The Lexington Cemetery is the largest and most beautiful cemetery in Kentucky, and quite possibly near to the most beautiful in the United States. I would recommend that anyone coming to the area go to view the gorgeous landscaping and see the history within the cemetery's iron gates. more

My wife and I spent a weekend in Lexington during April, 2001. During our visit, we drove to Lexington Cemetery to just drive/walk around. I was really surprised as to the beauty of the place. Really enjoyed it all, particularly the large Civil War section and Henry Clay's and his wife's monument. Very intriguing and peaceful. more
