Very old school tour with a great tasting at the end...and you keep the glass! The people are friendly and welcoming. They do not bottle at this facility.

We enjoyed touring three fine bourbon distilleries on a cold dreary December day; each distinctly different. At Four Roses the tour was done on an up close personal level; we walked up narrow stairs and between vats of fermenting mash. Steam crowded our eye glasses. And the aroma of yeast and alcohol really tweaked our noses. Cory, our tour guide,... More

Having known the story of "rock gut" we were not interested in a tour and decided to do just a tasting. The gentleman who assisted us was very interactive and informative. I was surprised he included that story but impressed. When you are reinventing/returning to its original essence, it is important to include all parts of their history and I... More

This is where all their Bourbon is put in barrels to age and then bottled. The visitor center just opened but is well laid out and the staff is full of knowledge and history of the Distillery which is located in Lawrenceburg, KY. A real neat place to visit, even if you don't take the tour.

We love Four Roses. It is one of our top 5 bourbons. The distillery tour is fun and unique. It is a smaller operation than some, but that lends to its charm. Free glass with your tasting so that's a bonus as well!! You have the opportunity to buy some bourbon in the shop that can't buy elsewhere (Pennsylvania resident... More

This was our second stop on the Bourbon Trail. A short movie in the beginning gave a nice history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made for a very entertaining and informative visit. The tasting room was fun, and we got to keep the glass.

This was our second stop on the Bourbon Trail right after Woodford Reserve. I preferred Woodford slightly more because it was a bit nicer, but we still had a great time at Four Roses and I believe it's worth a visit. The property is located in a pretty area in the countryside and surrounded by rolling hills. The buildings are... More

The best part of the tour is getting to try 3 of their products, and then you get to keep the Four Roses branded glass! The tour is brief and sort of the same overview of the distilling process that you get anywhere else, but the grounds are nice and learning the history is cool.

Wow. Nice place, kind of weird decor. I felt I was in Mexico and not in Kentucky with the look. We arrived a little late so we could only do the Taste of Four Roses. It was actually very nice and the tour" person Mona was very nice/friendly/funny. While it was nice - it was not our favorite on the... More

I love to go to distilleries and breweries wherever I go. This time it was a "purpose" trip to complete the entries on the Bourbon Trail. All the venues, except Evan Williams, are out in the country so it takes a while to get to them but the country is beautiful and worth the ride. We took an abbreviated tour... More
