Great place to visit, friendly people, tour was good, had a small group, everyone had a great time, not a lot of stairs.

We went during their shutdown time (booo) -- with most of the conversation happening during a video presentation (BIG booo) ... tour of the (shutdown) facility was ok -- glad this was later in the day (and we had already hit a few others -- one with a full tour of an operating plant) ...

If you go I hope that Kendall will be your guide. She was very informative and funny at the same time. It's a beautiful old distillery...too bad they did not distill since they always shut down production in the hot summer days. Great tasting of their Bourbons...generous pours too. Thanks Kendall!

This was our first distillery tour. We watched a short video to start with that explained much of the process. Our guide was very nice and friendly. I can't remember his name but he was a tall, skinny, young black man. He was extremely good at his job and new everything about the distilling processes. He answered questions that some... More

My wife and I were visiting distilleries in the Louisville area and we had never heard of Four Roses before but it was not too far off of the path we were taking so we decided to stop. The video and tour were informative and the Spanish style architecture of the distillery was nice. Also nice to taste a few... More

The folks at Four Roses were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. The tasting was not too expensive, Suggestion buying a Bourbon that is not available but only on site.

This tour is not at the actual bottling facility - that's in cox creek. But for 5$ you get a low key tour, a tasting, and your tasting glass. Good value.

Could not drive through Kentucky without stopping off at one of the several distilleries along the "Bourbon Trail". Remembering Four Roses from my misspent youth as a distiller of rather inexpensive "Rye" whisky, I was quite pleasantly surprised to find that it had been purchased by the Kirin Brewing Company (Japan) and was converted back to being a major supplier... You get to keep your tasting glass. Not a favorite on the trail, but worth seeing. Our guide was new and not as knowledgable as most.
