Visited here while on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. They have a new and very nice visitor center. Plenty of bourbon related items to view and purchase. Missed the tour through the plant.

This tour gives you a great understanding and a close up view of the distilling process. Great guides and helpful staff. A special thank you to Mona, of Four Roses, for making this dream come true! You really saved the day! Outstanding gift shop as well.

This was the first of several distilleries that my husband and I visited on a recent trip to Kentucky. I'm glad we went here first because it's a small distillery so you get to see a lot of the bourbon making process from start to finish. Very educational. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and we had a... More

One of four bourbon stops, and this was one was the worst. Beautiful reception area with many over priced items for sale. I cannot blame them, I did not know many distilleries shut down in the summer. We walked about 30 yards into a building and was explained as to what would be going on if they were running. Even... I really did not know much about Bourbon and do not think I had ever tasted it before but I still enjoyed the tour. Luckily, in mid Sept. they were in full operation. In the summer they still have the tours but they show pictures of what is going on instead of the real thing. The reception area is very... More

This is a beautiful building in a quiet area. We didn't do the tour because we have done so many before, and they are all pretty much the same. The tasting here was $5 for three tastings and the glass that you use from the tasting. The gift shop is excellent.

We visited the Four Roses distillery on a Saturday afternoon and just made the last tour which was at 3:00pm. This distillery certainly does not look like any of the others I have visited. The spanish motif is really a breath of fresh air. Our tour had 15 people which was about all that could work thru the buildings. We... More

This tour was decently thorough, but I actually learned more about what makes Four Roses unique elsewhere. They could do a better job of explaining that, as it was really interesting. But, the tour guide had a good sense of humor, and the tour includes Four Roses taking glasses you can take home, which is nice.

This property is different than you'd expect, but really pretty. The tour starts with a video that gives an overview of the bourbon process. We had visited other distilleries, so had heard much of it but the video enabled us to see the inside of the machines and how the whole process goes that you can't see in person. The... More

Nice people, beautiful buildings, good tastings, and buy anything you tasted. On tour they offer you a taste of the mash before and after fermenting. Tasting was [in order] Four Roses, Four Roses Small Batch and Four Roses Single barrel. Four Roses was nice, being the first shot a little rough. Small bacth tasted a little better. Single barrel was... More
