Absolutely AMAZING!

It took us an hour and half to get here from Nashville but we wanted out of the house after all the snow had melted and had heard about this place. I wish we had stayed home. It started with the most apathetic girl I have ever handed $65 dollars to. You would have thought I was bothering her by... More

Hands down the best $25 I've EVER spent! They could charge hundreds of dollars for this experience and it would still be worth every penny. It was truly a dream come true for me to be hands on and interact with the Kangaroos. They are so docile and affectionate.....thanks in LARGE PART to their handler Billy. Overall just a PHENOMENAL... Not really a zoo as much as an animal experience. Few places on this Continent can you feed and pet a Kangaroo. Aviary is one of the best I've been to. Dog herding show was very impressive. Fun for all. Get there when they first open. Staff will give you extra attention if crowds are low.

This was part of a multi-stop road trip full of adventures and one the kids are STILL talking about. I found the tickets on Groupon so the price was affordable for mom and 5 kids. The day after touring Mammoth Cave (which they loved) I thought it would be hard to come up with another "wow" experience, but this one... More

When we pulled up my husband and I were worried. We had driven 2.5 hours to get here and it did not look like it would be worth that time. We had bought a Groupon and come so far so we went in. Once you scale the mountain (ok really just a hill) you start to see the attraction. In... More

Not just another zoo. My wife purchased a 4 person ticket for 59 dollars on Groupon. Ticket prices are $26 normally. We were able to pet a snake, feed a kangaroo, pet an owl, see an albino bison, feed exotic birds and experienced a cave tour. Just an overall great experience. It is not your typical zoo, but I guess... More

I had bought a Groupon for my family to recently visit. The park was very well spread out, and had a few good attractions. The kangaroo petting was my absolute favorite, and I wanted to visit for that reason alone. The staff are very friendly and love to talk to you throughout your visit.

We have been to Kentucky Down Under a couple years ago and had a great time so we decided to go again. In the gift shop, there is a life size stuffed kangaroo and an emu, but there is also a live alligator and a very large parrot. There are many unique birds and animals. You can feed birds, kangaroo... More

If you like to experience animals and outdoors this is the place! Extremely laid back and fun environment! Where else can you go to pet Kangaroos, Snakes, Birds, Dogs and be surrounded by friendly people! Loved "Uncle Billy", he was very informative. The Cave tour was also great! I could have spent days here and never been bored. The grounds... More

Kentucky Down Under is a unique kind of zoo and a great deal - especially if you can get a Groupon. This was my first time to ever pet a kangaroo or see border collies at work herding sheep. The cave in the park is also an added bonus! It took about 4 hours here to take everything in, but... More
