Well when we pulled into the parking lot and all we saw was a little blue building I was a little nervous about our choice to go there but we entered anyways. We were visiting from Chicago with our 2 1/2yr old daughter and 6 month old son. They had the time of their lives! My little girl was so... More

Great place to spend the day with all kinds of different animals up close and personal. Then the cave tour was awesome! Great staff made this day even more memorable. It will be on our return list next time we are here.

We arrived later in the day and the staff was very helpful in making sure we were abelto see the last attractions of the day. Some favorites were the Lorikeets, Billy the Outback Keeper, and the sheep herding. The staff is EXCELLENT. They are the real deal and LOVE their animals. Cave tour was short and sweet-it features many formations.... More

We had a great time at Kentucky Down Under! I was a little leery about the cave tour but it was not a long or especially hard tour. (Be sure to wear one of the provided hard hats - there are some low hanging head bangers!) The animals were really fun. We loved the Lorikeets perching on us to get... More

We live in Kentucky and decided to take a trip over to the Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo since it is so close. The park is full of wonderful animals that you can get up close to and pet. My seven year old daughter fell in love with the Kangaroos and the Emu. My husband was enchanted by the blind... More

Our extended family (including a grandmother, toddler, and two preteens) had a wonderful time at Kentucky Down Under. No, it isn't a "zoo" per se...the experience is ever so much better! The animals are obviously happy and well-cared for, and the staff was some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable I've ever encountered. Be sure to come with enough time... More

We were visiting from Pennsylvania. Got a brochure at our campground and decided to go check it out. Glad we did. Everyone there is so nice, all of the zoo keepers giving demonstrations were very knowledgeable and seemed to care about the animals. Uncle Billy the keeper at Outback Walkabout was very informative and alot of fun. The ladies at... More

I love having my season pass. I get to see and pet different animals when I come each time. Very friendly staff. They will answer any questions you have. Great homemade food at the cafe. I recommend all my friends and family to tour the park & cave. Just think of the cost going to feed the animals you get... More

Decent place to go to, not nearly enough animals, but the staff was EXCELLENT. Never met a more helpful, or friendly staff. The Cave could have been a lot better, no lighting, only flashlights, and that means, NO pictures. By the post cards in the gift store, the Cave was probably pretty. The event staff, for the Dogs and Tours... More

My family and I decided to make a day trip to Kentucky Down Under from Nashville and weren't disappointed with our experience. Friendly staff throughout the park and cool exhibits for such a small park. The guides all seemed to be very passionate and knowledgeable about what they were presenting. We all really enjoyed watching the sheep herding dogs in... More
