We went to visit this place but unfortunately it was closed. The sign board displayed it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I wish people would have mentioned it in their reviews. Would have spared us 50 miles of drive.

Great place to take your time and walk the trails. If you enjoy peace and quiet while taking in natures beauty, this is the place to go. Enjoy special educational talks that are present from time to time.

Preserved prairie land with rolling hills, ponds, natural habitat, birds and animals including huge frogs. The ruts from the covered wagons are visible on one of the many trails. Reminded us of Little House on the Prairie but made us realize what a difficult time they had traveling through this land. Well worth visiting; the center has lots of information,... More

Great nature reserve!! Several hiking trails, a pavilion with restrooms, and a pond. The two best features of this center are 1. The bird blind, and 2. Tim Williams, the onsite director. The bird blind is a small enclosure where people can sit behind a one way glass, enabling them to watch birds, squirrels, etc as they eat from several... More

It was a beautiful drive back to park. I enjoyed hiking the blue trail and sat for awhile at the pond and enjoyed the sun, birds, and breeze. I didnt mind paying a fee as it cost money to keep up these parks and I found the experience very relaxing. The bird blind was great as well. Plan to visit... More

If you like to walk in the countryside, this is a great place to do it. They charge a fee, but what is the big deal( $4), you spend more than that to do other things. It's very quiet and a nice change from being in town around all the cars and noise( and you learn a thing or two... More

Overpriced walking trails, you can hike many other places for free. Other than a few bird feeders not much of nature center.

Not much to do, you can only watch birds for so long. Can take a walk but watch out for ticks.

We wandered down the long road past Woodford farms and reserves and finally pulled up to the sanctuary at the top of a beautiful ridge. We had happened to drive past the sign while heading over to grab some Bourbon Balls at Rebecca Ruth's and decided to head back and check it out. It was the highlight of the day.... More
