The Swope's Cars of Yesteryear Museum features vehicles ranging from the early 1900's to the 1960's in a variety of makes and models in both original condition and restored condition. After years of planning and nine months of construction, Swope`s Cars of Yesteryear opened in May 1999. The collection consists of sixty magnificent machines of the past, all museum quality. These are exciting automobiles that stir memories of long ago days when motoring was a fun-filled adventure. Our museum allows car fans and collectors to admire the progression of automobiles over time. Our collection includes antique cars like the 1914 Model T and the 1925 Pierce Arrow to classics like the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and the 1956 Thunderbird. « less

Lived here for 5 years and my 1st visit. I was very impressed with the beautiful collection. All of the vehicles are 1st class and in immaculate condition. Mr Swope has done a great service to this community by sharing this with us. The price also cannot be beat. N/C for everyone except unaccompanied children, then only $100.00 each.

This little gem is amazing!! We had a wonderful time at this museum. The cars are pristine and the guide was a joy! We even got to meet Mr Swope himself who is over 90! Big bonus!! Anyone who has just a small love for vintage cars must stop by for a visit. We were also invited to go by... More

Went there today during my lunch break. There are two classic cars greeting you as soon as you get there and 40+ more once you get inside. Once you step inside, you're already on tour. No tickets to get. Just walk about on your leisure. The wife and I started on the right side and worked our way around. It... More

Hard to find as it is tucked behind the Swope Car Dealership, and is part of the same. Owner has collected vintage cars for over 50 years and they are in mint condition. Some are Rolls, and others are excellent quality cars from the past. Plan at least one hour. They have two locations, but the one at the 1100... More

The father in law is a car nut, especially old cars. We were on a road trip and swung by here last minute on a whim. Holy awesome cars, batman!! This place is perfect for seeing old cars. And it free!!! I would highly recommend stopping here. It may not be suitable for smaller kids...

Free! I believe there were 45 antique cars in the museum. Very friendly hostess who said there is a warehouse with another 15 cars just a couple blocks away that you can also visit (we did not go to the 2nd location. The cars are beautiful. Any car lover would drool over these antique cars.

We thought this was the best collection of antique cars. The lady who was there to answer questions and welcome us was so knowledgeable on each of the cars. It was interesting because there are cars we have never seen before as meets or other car museums. She had details on each one. We thank Mr. Swope for his dedication... More

They have just recently remodeled. For a free attraction it's a no-brainer. There are about 20-30 cars, I believe, and all are very interesting. Several rare models, it was a great collection, and it's real nice to be open to the public. Good way to kill an hour or two. A great stop if you're on the way to a... More

Great cars from early brass to more modern cars. About fifty cars all well maintained and accessible to the general public.
