Owner description: "... a wonderful collection, and it's FREE! Thank you" a recent visitor. The Swope's Cars of Yesteryear Museum features vehicles ranging from the early 1900's to the 1960's in a variety of makes and models in both original condition and restored condition. After years of planning and nine months of construction, Swope`s Cars of Yesteryear opened in May 1999. The collection consists of sixty magnificent machines of the past, all museum quality. These are exciting automobiles that stir memories of long ago days when motoring was a fun-filled adventure. Our museum allows car fans and collectors to admire the progression of automobiles over time. Our collection includes antique cars like the 1914 Model T and the 1925 Pierce Arrow to classics like the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and the 1956 Thunderbird.

All are in beautiful excellent condition. We were greeted at the door by Morris Judd, a true car lover himself, who offered to let us browse through alone... More

We were on a road trip and stopped here for a bite. And in practically the middle of nowhere there was this great little car museum, and it's free. Great collection!

One would never expect the quality of cars in this family owned collection and there is no charge! They store other cars and rotate them, some are worth millions.

Elizabethtown,Kentucky has an exhibit that is truly "world class" -the Swope Cars of Yesteryear Museum, and it doesn't cost anything to see and enjoy it.The main building on Hwy.31 houses about 25 of the most beautifully restored cars anyone would hope to see under the same roof. One car especially stands out-a 1928 Packard seven-passenger sedan that had once belonged... More

This was way more than I expected in both the amount and types of antique cars! Some are extremely rare, including one of only two 1937Y Cadillac Fleetwood 12 cylinder in existence. The guide Judith Asbury was very informative and knowledgable. This is a must see for car buffs and there is no cost to take a leisurely tour through... More

If you like classic, antique, or muscle cars you will enjoy this collection. The autos are just like they rolled out of the factory. There is no cost of admission to the museum. Mr. Swope and his family have done very well over the years in auto sales and service and the museum is one of the many ways they... More
