"... a wonderful collection, and it's FREE! Thank you" a recent visitor. The Swope's Cars of Yesteryear Museum features vehicles ranging from the early 1900's to the 1960's in a variety of makes and models in both original condition and restored condition. After years of planning and nine months of construction, Swope`s Cars of Yesteryear opened in May 1999. The collection consists of sixty magnificent machines of the past, all museum quality. These are exciting automobiles that stir memories of long ago days when motoring was a fun-filled adventure. Our museum allows car fans and collectors to admire the progression of automobiles over time. Our collection includes antique cars like the 1914 Model T and the 1925 Pierce Arrow to classics like the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and the 1956 Thunderbird.

This museum is part of the Swope Auto Group. The nice thing is it is free and no car sales-people bother you. These cars were mostly owned by the Swope family. The museum has a great selection for a small museum, The volunteer who works there is very knowledgeable. It is nice of the Swope Family to share these privately... More

The cars were simply lovely and indoors, which help us to avoid rainstorms. The quality of the cars is extraordinary because the cars have been used primarily for display for several decades.

It was interesting. Not too big, not too small. And the lady working there was very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and told use tidbits we didn't know. Beautiful collection, I'm impressed with Mr. Swope.

I applaud the generosity of Mr. Swopes uin allowing his collection to be viewed and appreciated by the public at NO COST. Loved the Packards, Lasalles, all the cars. A special thank you goes out to Shannon... More

If you are a classic car lover, this little museum is a must see. The cars have been carefully chosen, are in great shape, and nicely displayed. And the biggest surprise? Admission is free!

We had no idea what we were about to visit. The cars were fantastic, very rare, several extremely high end cars. The tour guide was knowledgable and interesting. They do not charge and we even offered a donation and they were just delighted to share their collection. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

This collection has a number of cars that I have never seen before in person. It was great to look at them and to actually see the interiors. The man that was working there that day was very knowledgeable about the cars in the collection. He knew the history of most of them that he talked about and was extremely... More
