Made a stop here with a 9 year old and 11 year old en route from OH to TN. Would I stop with my teens? No way. Would I stop without kids? Probably not. Am I glad we stopped. Sure thang! The facilities are okay; bathrooms spacious, staff sorta helpful. We didn't get any of the extras, spent about 10... More

We visited during spring break and had a fun couple of hours. Gem mining fun for kids, kind of a cheap to have kids fill up a very small container with gems and then be told they can keep three and the rest goes back into he sand. Fossil dig is good for a few minutes diversion for the kids.... More

We came here for Spring Break! The fossil dig was kind of a waste but the gem mining was very neat and my son loved it! The dinosaurs were very neat and I loved the way everything was arranged. We really enjoyed the Dinosaur walk. We went because of my son being a huge dinosaur fan, but it was very... More

The terrain is not suited for physically disabled people. The admittance price is too high for quality of attractions. They could use some touch up paint and maybe a little more realistic quality. The Movie Cave has a bad leak in the roof and all the benches were soaked, leaving no place to sit.

My wife and 4 year old son enjoyed dinosaur world greatly. There are many (many to scale) model Dino's along a 1/4 mile trail (stroller accessible) that thrilled my son. The surrounding area is beautiful for a day we'll spent!

Had a great time with the family, even in winter there was plenty to do for 1-2 hours. The place was clean, well kept, and staff was very nice. Will definitely visit again if in the area.

The dinosaurs are big and look like they came out of "Jurassic Park." It is a cool place to visit, especially for the kids. But it is a little pricey, and there is not much to do there except walk the trail through the woods and look at the dinosaurs. You can see it all in an hour or less.... More

The front desk guys were very helpful and energetic. It was new years day so not a lot of people were there. If you are taking older kids this is not a stop you want to make but for 10ish and under it would be a great stop. The dinosaurs don't look as real as the brochure, but if you... More

We took a road trip to the smoky mountains and on our way home we decided to stop here as a break from the drive. Our boys loved the dinosaurs, mining, and digging for fossils. It was a bit of a tourist trap and you ended up paying a bit more then we thought. As an adult I was not... More

So you came to central Kentucky to visit the country's largest caves but your kids want something else to do. Why not Dinosaur Word! I'll tell you why not. I went with my 3 children in August and the first thing you do is walk through their huge store which has anything imaginable to buy about dinosaurs. I thought this... More
