First off I will say me and my wife have been waiting and anticipating taking our grandson to "Dinosaur World" in Cave City, KY for a while. We are actually locals and only live around one hour from here. Our grandson just turned 5 in July. He has had us watch all the "Jurrasic Park" movies with him over and... More

My granddaughters loved it. GIANT dinosaurs...digging for fossils...playing at the playground. Lots of fun.

This was an excellent place to go if you are in the area headed to Mammoth Cave, particularly if you have kids. My two boys loved it--in addition to the large dinosaurs, they got to dig for fossils and pan for fake jewels. All in all, a lot of fun.

This was our first time here and we had so much fun! We loved walking around looking at the dinosaurs and my daughter had fun digging up fossils! Every staff member we spoke to was so friendly and helpful! Would recommend to anyone with kids!

We stopped in at Dinosaur World not expecting much. We figured that it would be a silly thing just for kids and was great for kids, but we all a lot of fun. They had a lot of really cool scenes set up with one or more different types of dinosaurs. They even have access to take your picture on... More

We went here for the first time this year and thought it was a really neat place. Loved the fact that it was so spread out and wasn't too crowded and seemed to be just the right length to hold the kids attention. The gift shop was amazing as well and had a lot of cool things for sale.

I'm not sure that I would drive a long distance to come here, but since we were in the area anyway, we stopped at Dinosaur World one afternoon. My first complaint is their web site and telephone recording say their hours are, "We open at 8:30am"- there is no reference to when they close. We found that they closed at... More

Visited here with my 2.5 year old granddaughter. She loved it! There is a small museum with fossils and other interesting items. The walking trail where the dinosaurs are is paved and very well kept. The dinosaurs are painted and look very realistic. We were able to walk out to the large dinosaur visible from I-65 and get her picture... More

I was traveling with my daughter and two young grandsons. My grandson loves dinosaurs so we decided to take a travel break and stop at Dinosaur World. If was 97 degrees and the dinosaurs were all outside. Luckily, it is very shaded and the dinosaurs are all in a beautiful woodsy area. I guess I was expecting some if them... More

An economic and sort of interesting way to run some energy out of young legs. A short (easy) trail with dinosaurs alongside and some playground / museum / fossil dig / gem mining to round it out.
