We took the grandkids for a weekend vacation and visited Cave City. First we visited the Dinosaur World. We got there early and beat the crowds. The trail is 3/4 mile long and concrete side walks most of the way. As you walk the trail, you get to see first hand the various types of dinosaurs in "Life Like" size....it... More

I really was not sure about this place until I seen it. To be honest out of everything we did over four days this was my favorite! You will walk about 30 mins to see everything, and to be honest the dinosaurs are well maintained and colorful! I do think they need to repair the plaques that go with the... More

We took our 6 yr old grandson to Dinosaur World and it was well worth the trip. We were all excited to see each display of dinosaurs. We went through it twice! The playground was a nice touch also just to run off some energy. We enjoyed the "hands-on" display right outside the museum. The museum was very interesting and... More

We recently made the trip to Cave City, KY where we visited several places in town. Dinosaur World was our first stop. Our group for this trip consisted of 6 people - two children ages 6 & 16, four adults ages 30-65. This stop is geared towards younger children. Nice gift shop that was clean and had souvenirs in all... More

We have been to Dinosaur World twice now and the kids enjoy it. The dinosaurs are fun for younger kids and everyone enjoys digging for fossils. The gift shop is full of interesting items, also. Not a bad place to visit when you're in the Mammoth Cave area.

This place exhausted me because every amazing display had to be read aloud to have any meaning to my 3 and 6 year old... Why not let them carry a recorded tour that has sounds and reads to them each stop on the amazing wooded tour...it would have solved the pronunciation issues for sure! With something like that I would... More

I went to Dinosaur World with my 11 year old cousin. He enjoyed the dinosaurs and gem mining but this is really more suited for younger kids. The types of dinosaurs represented are limited, however they do hit all the "famous" types. There are a few good photo ops but most of them you can't really get close enough to... More

On a road trip with our 4 and 6 year olds we took a stop here. Our kids loved it! They especially enjoyed the gem mining. I loved the walking trail to see life sized dinosaurs. They were so realistic and had info about each one. The downfalls were a couple of things. The room where the Dino movie was... More

Took my 11-year-old here and he had a great time. He acknowledged he might have been a TEENY bit too old for it, but he got a lot of fun out of running through the Dinosaur Walk and snapping photos of all the life-sized dinosaurs, participating in the Fossil Dig, and visiting the Museum. One of those things you sort... More
