Basically Junk

This is nothing but junk and needs to be Gone with The Wind. That music constantly played does not help. Got a cheap geode here. That's about it. Very musty and smelly.

Items are way overpriced. The store is unorganized and cluttered. Most items were junk and what one might consider flea market quality used items. I did purchase a small Galileo thermometer that was labelled a "rain gauge" and pitched to me as a old time rain gauge (I think they were describing a barometer). I was somewhat stunned, but they... This store seems to have passed it's prime. The place is very musty, crowded, dusty and so uninviting that you'll have no reason to stay in the store.

This shop/store has some amazing items! Prices are a little high on furniture, but we're talking real antiques in good to almost perfect condition. Plus she offers lay-a-way!! Aisles are tight so large bags aren't feasible.

This store needs a major re-work. Had not been there in over a year but nothing seemed to have changed. The owner is definitely quirky and interesting, but interest ends there. All the items are priced at very upper limits and entire store is dusty, dirty and just funky. Have been in dozens of antique stores over the years and... More

I purchased 4 items from this store. I used the layaway option. While my items were on layaway, I was transferred to another job within Kentucky. I talked with the owner of the store and she would not work with me on my purchase; she said that the furniture was owned by a vendor and he wanted his money. I... More

This was a great place for me and my family to browse around. We are from Michigan and have been in a lot of antique stores but none have matched the charm and atmosphere of Magaline's. The own was very friendly and talkative. She was also very helpful when my son wanted to see an antique cap gun. Thanks for... More

When you walk in your greeted by the owner, Magaline. She is dressed in old fashioned Victorian clothing and hat. Southern hospitality at its finest! Her store is chocked full of interesting things. While looking through the vast store I found a beautiful antique kettle that I had to have. Her store is one of several on their Heirloom Antique... More

We had seen the signs on I-65 posted for Cave City being the "Antique Go-To" place. There were about 4 stores along the main street and this was one of them. The visit started with being greeted by Magaline who's Southern Hospitality was obvious. Generally, this store is nothing special. Almost flea market style - a lot of junk...down right... More

Sitting on a block of mostly closed antique stores, this store is an eye catcher. Inside, there is a wide variety of vintage and antique items, but they are at book or above book. I would think in a town starving for business, the prices would be better, but not so. Not worth the long drive from Louisville.
