We did the 1 hr horse ride, you start off in a pretty meadow and them meander thru the woods. I have never ridden a horse before and felt very safe. My 6 & 4 yr old rode w/ me and my husband. a true 'Kentucky' experience!

My fiancé and I recently went horseback riding at the Jesse James Riding Stables after visiting Mammoth Cave. We booked the one-hour tour which was the perfect amount of time. The tour goes back on a trail in a very big circle. Our guide was very knowledgable about the area and horses. The group owns a very large number of...

Our boys had such a good time horseback riding here. Our guide Ronnie was great. He made sure everyone was comfortable and prepared before we headed out. Our horses were Zipper, Comit, Maggie and Beula. The boys are still talking about the horses like they were people we met along the way. We took the 1 hour ride and it...

The 2 hour ride was overall fun, despite riding a bit by the highway. Riding up and down some hills as well as over some trees was the highlight for me. There was a 10 year old girl within the riding group who was able to handle everything just fine. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars had...

My 8 year son and I signed up for the hour long ride. Rides leave every half an hr. It was a gentle ride designed for new riders (our guide, Ronnie said 89% of their riders have never ridden before). Safety helmets were optional, total cost was $34 (for 1 adult & 1 kid after using online coupon-see their website...

We only toured Outlaw Cave during our visit. The tour was very short but the price was reflective. It was famed to be the cave where Jesse James hid out but no mention of this was ever made during the tour.
This is a great value for anyone wanting to horse back ride. Our guide, Josh, was personable and very helpful. Our horses were gentle and easy to ride. We paid $18/pp for an hour long ride, which was through a wooded and hilly area. Since the ride included a steep climb up and down a hill, I am not sure...

I had been riding as a kid but it had been YEARS since I've been. My husband and I brought our 2 year old daughter who loves animals to Jesse James Stables. We paid $38 for an hour ride which I found extremely reasonable. We had 2 guides both of which were very nice when we were waiting to start...

Our recent visit to Cave City, KY included a one-hour horse back riding session. We almost passed on this to do something else, and I am so glad we didn't. This was a highlight of our trip. Our guide, Josh, was very good! He was interactive with just about everyone in our group, made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Josh also...

We took theywo hour ride which was very scenic and actually on trials and through the woods. Our guide james was super nice and really informative about the area and horse info. Our 17 year old had a blast! Our guide took pictures of us for us and the price was very reasonable.
