What a blast! I was a little worried about my daughter, being a petite 50 pounds with no horse experience, would be unable to handle a horse alone but she did great. They kept 2 guides close to the group for the entire ride, and offered free helmets for everyone. The horses were very well behaved and not flighty or... More

We ended up doing the Outlaw cave which was fun and very pretty, we also did the Green River Canoeing which was right across the parking lot. That was def the best part. Def if you like nature and a relaxing time it is a must do

This was a fun trail ride and it wasn't badly priced. My experience on the trail ride would be a 5 out of 5. However, something about this place left me with an unsettled feeling. I'm not convinced they take very good care of the horses. Horses returning from a trail ride were used again immediately for our ride, and... More

Try either the Alpine Slide or the Zipline! Get a few hole-in-ones at the miniature golf or saddle up and ride a horse! All great family fun for a very reasonable price!!

Besides ice cream and hot dogs the store was a surprise in that we were able to find some hats at a quiet low price and bought several. Games were about and many tasty treats for the buying. A real surprise find. Staff were very friendly and a real surprise today.

We were actually trying to find the Double J Ranch to ride but stumbled on the Jesse James with a full parking lot and decided we would stop since it was on the main road. The guides seemed to spend more time goofing off (riding sideways, standing up on the saddle, saddle belt nearly sagging to the ground). I'm pretty... More

The ride at Jesse James was the start of a great day at Kentucky Action Park. We did the shorter half hour ride because there was a younger child and teen with little riding experience, but next time I think we would all want to do one of the longer ones. Lucas, our guide, was great at explaining everything and... More

IMG this was so much fun! My horse was behula and even though I was terrified when I sat up on her she remained calm through out the whole hour ride. My daughter rode flipper and had a great time as well. Our guide told us history of the area we rode through. It's was the original 31w. Jesse James... More

My 2.5 year old granddaughter loves animals and I wanted to take her horseback riding. This place is local and I had been told good things. We were not disappointed. Our trail guide, Lucas was awesome with the children and he was funny and entertaining during our ride. The horses were gentle and the only complaint I have about them... More
