Free fun and the sun, great mix!

Bring the kids to run around and play. Plenty of space to fish by yourself if you like. Bring the lunch bucket and sit down at the pic-nic area's.

The Good: variety, well maintained, free, picnic site The Bad: no stunning point This is a great park for families with young kids. I have pic iced here a hundred times. There are very nice covered and uncovered areas. The central lake, lite forest and little hills make the whole area very appealing. The city has done a good job maintaining... More

We love this little park. Very clean and well-taken care of. Love all of the ducks and geese. A great place for a picnic.

Went on a family outing at this park recently (Picnic and birthday party) and had just a wonderful day. The picnic areas were clean and tidy, the playground was great for the grandchildren, and had fun watching the ball games. If you decided to nothing here, that also could be accomplished. Enjoy, Dr. Marc, PS 63:7

Very clean and pretty. A nice place to take the family for a picnic or to play around. You could spend the whole day here relaxing.

Turn right, before the airplanes, then take the next left and follow the road to the back to find the largest (fenced in) children's playground in town. (The small playground in the front isn't what I'm referring to.) There is also a large pond with ducks that many people feed. Something fun to do with kids and near most hotels... More

We have 5 kids, 8,4,3,2 & 2 months (as of writing this) and they were enamored with this playground. We were too for that fact. We liked that it's fenced in and the entrances are at both ends which makes it less of a headache to worry about kids wondering off. There are a ton of swings, playsets, and everything... More

Nice place to just walk and enjoy nature. You can also do some fishing while you are visiting the park. No charge is a plus.

I was visiting from out of town and noticed this park when I drove by. I took my son here for a couple hours to play on the playground which was fantastic. He's not even 2 yet, so he usually gets bored at a playground after a few minutes, but not here. He had a ball, and I finally had... More

Basil Griffin is good for people of all ages. If you are family you can picnic by the lake, feed the ducks, and play on the playground. If you have teens, there is a basketball court and tennis court. If your an adult, you can walk and people watch. A lake divides the park into two halves. You can walk... More
