We had toured the assembly plant before and am always amazed at the process of building americas only Sports car....The plant itself was closed on this visit while they changed over to the new model but ti is still fun to visit and take a picture with your corvette outside the plant next to the sign... we were also able... Long walk from parking to the tour. Gift shop was a total joke with almost nothing in it. Very weird. The tour guide was great but we toured when everything was turned off. Kind of a waste. Our kids loved it but I guess I just expected better.

It is what it is, a Corvette museum. If your a fan of the 'vette, worth the stop. When I was there (Oct 2012) the museum had an interesting hall of items from 9-11.

This was a interesting tour. We got to see the steps in the assembly of the new Corvettes. You are close to the assembly line so it is easy to see what the workers are doing. We visited the plant on the 13Th of September and this was the last day for tours since they will be starting the process... More

Great place to experience the history of an iconic American car. New Vettes are on display in the lobby, and the museum showcases the history of the line. The plant tour is well worth the time.

Was surprised that the tour takes you right on the floor of the factory. You get a close up look of the process and work that goes into the making of the corvette. Was interested to learn that they randomly pick 3 cars each day to test and they are tested right on the public roads in and around Bowling... More

Very, very informative. Took the public tour, lasted a little over an hour. Saw several "personal" tours taking place. Well paced. Tour guide was always asking for questions and knew all the answers. No pictures but what an experience.

Like most folks, I've dreamed of having a Corvette since I was a kid. (and I still vow to -- one day!). So, We decided to make this plant tour a part of our trip. We traveled sort of last minute, so missed the reservation window, so I sent an email requesting a couple spots on the tour. Very shortly... More
