I was a General Motors tech, so not to much excitement for me. What we saw on the tour, the machinery does most of the work, with workers simply guiding parts in place and connecting them. I'm surprised the machinery doesn't perform more tasks. Personally, I think it takes more skill building a model car, than factory assembly. This is... More

Touring the Corvette assembly plant is a must see! Amazing to watch these cars basically put together by hand. Tour guide was great! Highly suggest visiting!

Been here since January 12th, 1981. Have seen first hand how it grew to where it is today. Proud to be a Union Autoworker

Ok...Im gonna make this short and sweet ( if you know me, you know that is impossible). If you have any interest in cars...You must run, not walk (ok maybe drive) to this tour ASAP! We had some false starts getting on tour due to our lack of math skills or perhaps lack of attention to time change. We came... More

WE visited the Corvette assembly Plant in Bowling Green Ky and as always, it was terrific. Withouit a doubt these workers are the friendliest and auto workers in the world and take a great deal of pride in what they build. I'd be sure and call ahead and schedule your tour..it's well worth your time

Been through other assembly plants. They all have characteristics which lend uniqueness to their product. The Corvette plant lends such a uniqueness that makes this not just another GM product. The quality control throughout the assembly process goes beyond making a good car. It's a Corvette!

This is a great tour for anyone who wants to see the inner workings of a car plant. The way the assembly line moves in perfect harmony is awe-inspiring. Also to see so many gorgeous vettes being made is mind blowing. We'll worth the 3 hours of being there. The time flew by. Our guide was very knowledgeable and they... More
