We were needed a place to stop and let our kiddos burn out some energy for awhile. The play area was perfect for them (ages 3 & 1). The ice cream was also good. We also enjoyed walking down the lane to visit the cows and calves. My only suggestion would be more animals. I've been to some similar ice... More

We went for dinner and ice cream after a day exploring Bowling Green. The food was ok, although my husband loved the "world famous chicken salad." The ice cream was good, but I had really high expectations from the reviews and it didn't meet them. But then we went outside to the playground. We had the whole place to ourselves.... More

We always have fun here from the corn maze, the slides, and now a new bouncing trampoline. It is like a pillow that is in the ground that kids could bounce on for $5.00.my son loved this thing and some activities are free except the bouncing pillow , concessions, or the corn maze. They also have sometimes things in the summer... More

We had really high hopes for this, it came highly recommended, and we were ready for the trek. And it was a trek, this is really in the middle of nowhere. We had ice cream and lunch here, and the food was really pretty marginal. My kids didn't finish theirs at all, and my wife was equally disappointed. The ice... More

Our family was in town for the weekend and ran across a coupon for Chaney's Dairy Barn. What a treat! We took a couple of blankets and sat out in a field together and watched a free movie together. Our daughters enjoyed a delicious ice purchased there. There's a playground there, lots of things for kids to do. It was... More

We stopped there after noticing a sign along the highway. We had a nice small meal and an ice cream for desert. The place had a lot of Kentucky made products. WE did not have any kids with us but there were several there while we ate.

In the summer, they have dinner and a moovie, in which you can eat there and also buy some of there homemade ice cream. Then they show a kid-friendly movie on the side of the building for familes. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy. At Christmas, they have breakfast with Santa, where they have a breakfast buffet and... More

We were recommended to go here for a late lunch and ice cream by one of the staff at the Shaker Village and it was a good recommendation. The sandwiches were very good and relatively inexpensive; their ice cream was good with several very unique flavors. When we got there we expected more of a gift shop but that is... More

The Chaneys are a great family and their "Dairy Barn" is an excellent example of agri-tourism in the Bowling Green area. If you want your kids to slow down and take a few breaths of fresh air, Chaney's is a great alternative for an afternoon. Grab some Big Red Rumble (if you love red velvet cake like I do!!) or... You'll eat with a full sized cow watching, as you peer @ the KENTUCKY PRIDE & other food items, gifts & ??? to take home. If you're... More
