I've been to a lot of zoos in the surrounding states and this is by far the best. Well planned and laid out, and the exhibits are beautiful with plenty of comfy living room for the animals. They are redoing the elephants right now and I can't wait to see what it will be like! Also in a nice part... More

I was very impressed by the Wichita Zoo. I was not expecting to see such versatility and good care of animals in a smaller city zoo. Everything was nicely in place and accessible. The only interesting thing that caught my eye was the lack of scientific information. I would have liked to see some info on the evolution of Apes... More

We went to the zoo with our grandchildren and really enjoyed our day. We were impressed with the enclosures for the animals, especially the giraffes, orangutans, gorillas and meerkats. There was a lot to see but didn't wear out the kids. Would recommend it for all families

The kids really enjoyed the zoo. They are still working on it to make it better which is a good sign. Time and money well spent. Nice playground area for the kids as well.

Went to the zoo over the weekend. It was a nice get away. Easy to get to. Exit 11b then 5 miles up to Zoo Blvd. The website gives you prices. You can rent a single stroller for $6 for all day, and bring in your cooler, so you don't have to pay for snacks. Because of the season only... More

Wichita boasts one of the best zoos in the country. There is truly something for everyone. Visitors of all ages will delight in watching the otters play, the puma's pace and the penguin's slip and slid. Plans are afoot for the new elephant venue. Priced right for the whole family.

Awesome zoo with lots of walking paths with tons of animals to see! This is not one of those zoos where you show up and end up disappointed that the animals are hidden somewhere or run across empty habitats ~ their habitats are unique and animals are always out to be seen:) This is a clean zoo with a recently...
