My husband, 3 year old son and I had a great time. The penguins, bears, giraffes and lemurs were very sociable. Our son loved it. My only critique would be that the eating areas outside need to be cleaned regularly, due to bird droppings and cobwebs. Other than that, it is a very nice zoo and we plan on going... More

It was a few years back but we were treated like royalty at the zoo. It is fully stocked but intimate zoo. We go to do a backstage tour which included feeding baby giraffes, which is still a highlight for my daughter.

I was very suprised, this is a great zoo. I live in the Valley of the Sun and the Sedgwick County Zoo beats the Phoenix Zoo hand down. Well worth the admission price.

I had the opportunity to visit this zoo this past week. I was very happy with the smaller crowds but it probably came at the cost that most others likely knew that a couple of the exhibits were temporarily closed. I was able to see a few animals really up close though. Even had a penguin come within inches on... More

So well done; all the exhibits and landscaping are first rate. The elephant Zambezi River to open next year will be outstanding. Feeding the Giraffes is really fun.

Sedgwick county zoo has always been a must do with my family... We just went a few days ago and I was very disappointed... Several exhibits are closed and the price has gone up!!! I wish they would tell you that things were closed prior to paying... It's also not as clean as it once was

Went on a roadtrip here to visit my bestfriend and stopped in the zoo for the day. Saw some awesome huge turtles as well as many other cool exhibits and animals. My favorite by far were the hippos! We kept ripping leaves off the trees and the hippos would come up out of the water to the bridge,wide-mouthed opening their... More

The Sedgwick County Zoo and lots of neat animals and attractions. It is much smaller than zoos in larger cities like San Diego, but it is very nice for a small zoo

What a fun place to spend the day! Walking around the park, looking at the animals and taking time to eat a little bite.
