The garden has been around long enough to really mature. The best thing they did was to add the childrens garden area. My son loves climbing into the tree house, playing in the farm house, watering the plants, and banging things in the sound garden area. The one draw back is the one area with signs saying don't climb on... More

Not the best gardens we ever visited but it is pleasant. We had a big laugh at the new "children's" garden where there were lots of "do not" signs that gave the feeling of "do not" bring children. While I do feel children need to be respectful of the grounds, I think a children's garden should be conducive to exploration.... More

From the spring bulbs through the beautiful holiday display "Illuminations" Botanica is my favorite place in Wichita. Celebrating their 20th anniversary last year, the plants are mature and the exhibits well displayed. Kids love the Children's Garden. The spring tulip displays are breathtaking and include a huge number of flowers with new bulbs every year. (Don't miss the tulip bulb... More

Extensive, beautiful, enchanting. We appreciated the many spots to just sit and enjoy. The children's area was terrific, and each area is wonderful. Tulips, tulips, tulips! Color and music and beauty.

Botanica was a super addition when it opened in Wichita and it too continues to grow. It continues to be a place where special events are held, and enhanced by the beauty of the location.

A lot of the botanical gardens I have toured simply have many different speciment plants. The Botanica Gardens are actually a beautiufl work of art as well! They also provide great educational sessions if one is interested.

Strolled throughout Botanica during the luminary walk in December. There was a colorful light show that was worth seeing as well. All ages would enjoy. So festive and delightful in the cool air.... lovely evening-- I highly recommend it!
