My 2 year old is always fascinated with the animals at Rolling Hills. What a wonderful way to spend the day! The animals are always healthy and active. The best time to go for us is early in the morning, this is when the animals are most active and interactive. The gorilla exhibit is our favorite part. If you have... More

My expectations were high as I have visited bigger much better zoos (San Diego & Los Angeles). One aspect I did like was the tram that goes through the park. We felt the amount of animals were minimal. There is vast room for improvement and expansion. It did not take long for us to go through the park.

I was on a tour with a group of about 50 people and we were expected. Once in we were directed to the trams, except the seats were so dirty no one would set on them. That seemed to be a problem because our driver was gone for quit a while and returned with ONE paper towel. It was a... More

I've visited this zoo many times, and each time it gets better! Be sure to go early before it gets too hot to have the best chance to see active animals. Make sure to stop by the museum that's included in your zoo admission, you won't be disappointed!

We were very impressed with the Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure. All of the exhibits are modern and expertly done. The kids had a great time and the cost is very reasonable. We will visit again!

Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure is probably one of the most frustrating attractions I've visited. On the one hand, the park is so much more peaceful, clean and uncrowded compared to other zoos I've been to. But on the other hand I've seldom felt more bored at a zoo--granted much of this is out of the zoo's immediate control. The first... More

Animals has large enclosures with good and appropriate landscaping. Large, shaded viewing areas with seating along the way. Good sized restrooms are air-conditioned. Ample easy parking with large, shaded picnic area. The best part for me was the pet sitting they offer! $5.00 to keep your pet in an air conditioned kennel while you go play!

Recently my daughter and I visited the Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure a few miles outside of Salina, Kansas. First, we were impressed with the lovely landscaping and layout of the grounds. As we visited the various areas, we saw well-cared for exotic animals in large, natural, habitats. Well-placed displays gave interesting information about the animals which made this visit quite... This zoo also offers a museum with the entrance fee. Both were very nice. Will go again and will recommend to friends and family.
