If you're near Salina & you have a couple of hours to spare, go to the Rolling Hills Zoo! It's not the largest zoo, but it it totally worth the visit. The animals and the grounds are well-cared for. It's a nice mile & a half walk around the park, or take advantage of the handy tram that stops at... More

There is a museum that has so many different animals with bits of info and where they live, if they are endangered, etc. Then there is the zoo part, it is beautiful and the animals are well cared for; as much of a refuge as a zoo.

For being smack-in-the-middle of Kansas, this zoo and museum is amazing. The grounds are lovely and well-kept, the variety of animals is impressive, the staff is very friendly. There is a tram which can be ridden in a hop on- hop off manner. The museum is also quite impressive. VERY well done. This Wildlife Adventure is certainly worth the admission... More

I've loved coming here for years. The facilities are always kept clean, the animals look healthy, and overall it's a great experience for my family.

Come expirence a variety of animals up close. Paths and viewing areas get close to the exhibits so you can see everything up close. Well maintained and friendly staff. Zoo admission now covered in regular admission price. Very unique with animals preserved around the world in their replicated homes. Very nice conference rooms on site.

Put on your hiking shoes and don't forget the free map! We spent over 2 hours there, mostly walking from one exhibit to another. They are good exhibits, but very spread out. There is a train/tram ride available for a slight charge for those who get tired or can't walk that far. Sister Zoo to the Sedgwick County Zoo in... More

It's a few miles west of Salina off of I-70, and it's worth it. Most (including us) were impressed with what it had being in a smaller town. The museum is OK, but the zoo is 3rd ranked in Kansas after the ones in Wichita and Topeka, and I'm not sure who thinks the one in Topeka is better.

So I have a season pass to this attraction due to the low cost. If you think you might visit more than 2 times in a year please buy a pass, it's worth the savings. Also one of the best times my kids and I have found to visit is in the winter. Yes the winter when the animals that... More

I try to visit Rolling Hills every year and this year I picked a great day! They were doing animal painting demonstrations and had all sorts of animal artwork for sale in the museum lobby. Great visit as always

Great place to take the kids and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. The museum is WONDERFUL! The animals weren't very active, but they were probably just enjoying the weather also.. The kids had a great time..
