I tasted several wines. Each was delicious and I hoped I could buy a bottle of them all! You can tour the vineyards and have a glass of wine second to none while relaxing to a view of the rolling, Flint Hills. They also sell organic, raw cheeses and grass fed beef sticks. They offer a tasting room with wifi... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our winery. We had a great time with your group. As we thought about it the next day, our wines were being tasted by individuals representing over 40 states at the same time. Thank you again, and we hope to see you again soon! More

Okay, I know what you are thinking and you're right... The grape varietals that you are used to do not grow in Kansas. But there are varietals that you may not be familiar with that will surprise and delight you! I did not know many of the grape varietals that I tasted at this winery and I am familiar with... More

If you love antiques and locally-produced wines, Paxico, Kansas, is definitely worth a stop! My adult daughter and I stopped and spent a couple of hours wandering the antique shoppes in Paxico. At the exit is a winery and another one in Paxico. Both are worth a stop! I purchase two bottles of Kansan wines, one dry for me, one... More

We wandered in while antiquing downtown. It's less of a winery/tasting room and more of a store with a counter where you can try some wine. All the grapes are grown in Kansas. We tried most of the reds, and they each had a unique and interesting flavor. We meant to stop back to purchase a bottle later in the... More

We found this winery on Facebook. Great people and excellent wine. Who knew that Kansas made such excellent award winning wine? It's nice to see people offering local family made products in a mega store dominated world. We liked everything we tasted and ended up buying a half case. Let's just say it didn't last long. ;) We will be... More

We found Prairie Fire Winery on the internet http://www.prairiefirewinery.com/ and decided to take a day trip. Paxico is a gem! Get off the highway (I-70 just west of Topeka) and go into town (there is another winery at the interstate but we have not yet visited it). The shops are right around the "S" curve.... The Winery shares the building... More
