This is a great place to take kids. Our children love it. Be sure to buy the combo pack--bottles to feed the goats, fishing in the small pond, pony ride, wagon ride, and mining for minerals included. We went on a Saturday morning and it was fairly crowded but you did not feel rushed or overwhelmed. Lots of neat stuff... More

I wasn't all excited about going to this farm because I'm a farm girl born and raised. My neighbors have farm animals and I can take my daughter to see the animals whenever. So, the idea of visiting a farm just didn't tickle my fancy. But some friends wanted to go so we went. We went on a Tuesday so... More

This is the best place to take the kids and get out of the house for a day or just a few hours. It is cheap and easy to get to and has lots to do. Love taking the kids here during the week when I am off as it is free to get in.

This is a great place to take kids. You can just pay the admission and look around or buy extras like feeding milk to baby goats, fishing, etc. There is a playground if kids need a break. If you get ice, there is an ice cream store. Around Halloween there are themed activities. In the winter time, there is an... More

Holy Little House On the Prairie Batman!!! The displays and interactive demonstrations were a blast, and the place was crowded, but moving well. I'd come back.

This is a great place for kids to spend some time, especially with free admission on weekdays. The facility is always very well kept and can get busy on the weekends, but every time we've taken our son here he's had a blast.

We took advantage of the mid-week free entry. My kids (12, 9) really enjoyed strolling through the whole site. Bottle-feeding the baby goats was their favorite thing to do (nominal fee for this, $1/bottle.) There are also some nice exhibits about early rural life in Kansas, plus several opportunities to pet a variety of farm animals.

A great place for kids to experience hands on activities. A good collection of animals, mining, life in the Midwest during early 1900s.
