Truly blessed to have such a fabulous find in the middle of a suburb. Fun & educational for all ages and filled with first-rate volunteers and staff. Lots for little ones as well as young at heart - especially like the beautiful flowers, holiday events and true farm experience for my daughter. We visit several times a year and would... More

My daughter and grandchildren and wife have visited here several times and I finally went along. I was blown away by how interesting it is. They have a really nice variety of animals to both look at and feed, ranging from bobcats to hawks, eagles, geese, swans, heritage turkeys and chickens, goats and prairie dogs. I really enjoyed feeding the... More

Geared towards the younger kids this farmstead is really cool. My kids are 12 and under and all of us, including the adults, had an amazing time! There are a wide variety of animals and activities and for just $10 per person you can do everything on the farm. My kids loved both bottle and pellet feeding the goats and... More

This is the most awesome children's zoo you will find. They have done a fabulous job of recreating the farmstead life. There is a huge barn with cows to milk and pet. The pioneer town they have built is so real. There are goats, sheep, pigs, chicken and other farm animals to feed and view. Plenty of activities for the... More

Great time with the kids feeding the animals and playing in the many playground equipment. Staff or volunteers were very helpful.

We stopped here with our 5 and 1 year old on the way from OK to IA and it was such a treat. Not only is the admission VERY reasonable, but the grounds were well-maintained and the attractions were great for the whole family. We only stayed on hour, and if we had more time we would have stayed longer.

I normally don't enjoy these kinds of places, but I was very impressed by the farmstead. We went on a Thursday morning, so the crowds were small and the weather pleasant. There was no fee, and the volunteers and employees were very friendly. There was plenty for the kids to do and see, and they had a great time feeding... More
