The entry fee is inexpensive, and although there are many "al carte" activities that you can pay for in the park, like pony rides, cane pole fishing, goat feeding, and more, there is more to do than can be done in one day. I will certainly be back.

This is a GREAT place to take the family. Our family visited for two days in a row because they enjoyed it so much. Pony rides, fishing, cow milking, general store, school house, hay rides, etc. There is so much to do here! So many people in Overland Park told us that we needed to take our family here, and... Went here on July 19th. We had a wonderful time. Two adults and sons age 6 and 10 had a blast. The fishing was great. Feeding the goats was great. The kids loved the mining for gems as well. It is easy to spend the entire day here. We will definitely go back. Kids and adults of all ages can... More

Great place for the whole family! My kids loved "mining for gold". That part does cost extra but is worth it.

Wow a fantastic outdoor attraction for young kids. Better than the zoo for our 2 year old grand daughter. It is a giant petting zoo on one side with big far animals in the other. If you went to other states for the same thing you would pay a fortune .

Great place to take children under 10. Best for children ages 3-8. Lots to do and takes more then a couple hours to half a day to get through the whole park. Well worth the trip.

Kids and elders will love! They have wagon rides, feeding goats baby bottles, and shows. FREE on Mondays. Took my mom and she recognized all the old equipment. Not just for kids!

While visiting the Kansas City area, we took our 14 month old nephew to the farmstead for some outdoor adventure. He may have been a little to young to appreciate the farm but he had a good time watching the animals. In general it is a great place to take young children. Monday through Thursday and the rest of the... More

Deanna rose is a pretty big farm. Kids can explore the native American huts, feed animals and learn about mining. Its free to enter and see the animals, but they charge for the events like fishing and feeding the animals. They do have a pass for $10 that let's you do almost everything. Its certainly worth it.
