This is the most awesome children's zoo you will find. They have done a fabulous job of recreating the farmstead life. There is a huge barn with cows to milk and pet. The pioneer town they have built is so real. There are goats, sheep, pigs, chicken and other farm animals to feed and view. Plenty of activities for the... More

Great learning experiences for all ages. It is a beautiful botanical experience developed by the KS extension office and master Gardeners.

Great time with the kids feeding the animals and playing in the many playground equipment. Staff or volunteers were very helpful.

We stopped here with our 5 and 1 year old on the way from OK to IA and it was such a treat. Not only is the admission VERY reasonable, but the grounds were well-maintained and the attractions were great for the whole family. We only stayed on hour, and if we had more time we would have stayed longer.

I normally don't enjoy these kinds of places, but I was very impressed by the farmstead. We went on a Thursday morning, so the crowds were small and the weather pleasant. There was no fee, and the volunteers and employees were very friendly. There was plenty for the kids to do and see, and they had a great time feeding... More

We took our almost six-year-old grandson to the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead over labor day weekend. He had a blast. For some reason his favorite activity was riding the pedal tractors. There were goats in several locations around the farmstead for children to pet or feed. You could do pony rides, fish, feed ducks, see cows, chickens, etc. Animals like... More

We took our younger two children(ages 1 and 4) here while our oldest(age 10) was at a basketball camp. We didn't know how much our oldest would enjoy it and figured it'd give us something to do while he was at his camp. Well, I'm certainly glad we decided to give this place a visit! It's free to get in... More

I came here with my husband, sister, and our two 1-year-old kids. It was so much fun, even for them! They are too small to ride horses or fish, but they really loved seeing the chickens and the baby farm animals in the barn, and they especially loved petting the baby goats! We walked around the farmstead area and only... More
