So wonderful

So wonderful place for family. We liked it too much, especially children. I plan to take them again. All you have to do just bring your camera and enjoy.

Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead is a neat clean place where you can take your children and grand-children. It will show the different species of animals and develop the respect for nature. We have been there several times and you cannot go wrong. They always love it.

This is my second year in a row visiting the farm. The kids just love it! All the activities that they get to do keeps them really busy. The most favorite part is feeding of the goats. Keep in mind that once the goats are full then you cannot buy milk. If you go during the week admission is free,... More

Have been there several times and had a great time. Took my grandkids and I have to tell you I had a hard time getting them to leave, even my 25 year niece. She and I both had fun feeding the baby goats. A wonderful place to spend time with your family and having fun too. Definitely go see the... More

I have been taking my grandkids here for several years. They really enjoy it. Lots of fun things to do and see. They love feeding the goats and the hay ride. They also like the fishing pond. We have caught several small fish in the catch and release pond. They also have added several new buildings and improved the playgrounds.... More

Deanna Rose Farmstead continues to add to their delightful facility with more historically-based buildings and heritage displays/experiences. But nothing beats the open space and interaction with animals for entertaining (and wearing out!) small children on a beautiful day! Fishing, pony rides, mining, wagon rides, and more! A total treasure for families with young kiddos in south Johnson County! Free during... More

Deanna Rose is a great family outing. There is interaction with animals, fishing, a look into the past (e.g. the old school house), and many other things. Kids love it, and the rest of the family will also. If you are in the Overland Park area, it is well worth the visit.

A visit to this beautifully organized Farmstead is a great experience for all ages; especially for people far removed from agriculture. Most children love animals and can enjoy feeding some of them with food bought from the machines available. Chickens, ducks, goats, horses, longhorn cow, a buffalo, sheep, pigs, quail, turkeys and more are shown with their types of shelter.... More
