It is a beautiful area, along a creek, filled with color and nature. Great place to take my dog for a walk.

Johnson County has many lovely paths to walk. This is another. If you are lucky, you will see the deer along the creek in the mornings and evenings

Follows a stream in many places and green space. You can always see a heron - almost daily. Lots of wildlife in the evenings, almost always deer. Really flat (it's in Kansas you know).
Safe and well maintained. The trail follows the creek and it is beautiful. Lots of flowers and birds. Superb for walking or running especially if you need a trail for long runs.
More than 60 miles of paths for biking, hiking, skating, or strolling. Great parks with playgrounds dot the entire length of the greenway. Not uncommon to come across deer and other wildlife along the path. Really an escape from the city, only steps away
The greenway offers a great way to walk the dog and get away from the day's business.
