You can come to just walk around the lake, take the paved path and enjoy the 25 or so large sculptures donated by young Chinese artists or take to the paths and enjoy some easy hiking in the park. You can easily spend hours hiking and walking around. Most days... More

We had never been to the arboretum and we were so impressed with its beauty. There was something new to see tucked in every little nook. The flowers, sculptures, ponds, waterfalls and train exhibit made for a great walk through nature

My son enjoys watching the different trains go through their gardens. The trains even go under the sidewalk which as plexiglass... More

A bit of a drive but definitely worth it. Trains, butterflies, dragon flies, and water features for the kids, sculpture for the art enthusiasts, good trails for the walkers or strollers and everything for the gardener and photographer. The Monet garden is a different experience each time you go!

Spent a charming afternoon with my beautiful wife and a picnic lunch in the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. At every turn you find a hidden little nook with a shaded bench and surrounded by beautiful flower arrangements. The grounds consist of well planned and sculpted walkways and special niche areas - bridges, streams, ponds, and sculptures - and... More
