Can't beat this natural garden area. Great gardens and water displays. Train garden an extra. Worth much more than the $3.00 entrance fee.

We had a great walk. Our grandson loved the train depot. I loved the Monet Garden. My daughter loved the sculptures. There is so etching for everyone and they even let you walk your dog. We try to visit at least once a month. Cannot wait until Stems, their fundraiser!

Beautiful place to explore, walk and just feel calm. A number of pieces of art, walking paths, and special events as well as tours throughtout the year.

We went in early spring just after a late freeze, so some of the flowers had been bitten by the late blast of cold weather. Most perennials have not yet come up, and the trees have not budded. Even so, the "skunk lilies" were extraordinary! The walking paths and water features are lovely, and the place was packed due to... More

The Arboretum is a great place to walk, take photos, or just relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. I went early in the spring when daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips were beginning to bloom. It I!s a wonderful place to bring the kids

It seems to be in a constant state of expansion. I was disappointed with the flower beds and with the pond. The idea of charging admission to an unfinished and sometimes fairly empty arboretum does not sit well

Just off the highway and a little hard to find is a fine place to rest, learn about plants or take a nice hike. It used to be free but even with the small fee now it is a wonderful place to go by yourself or with the kids. Go and enjoy!

I mainly go to the Overland Park Arboretum for shooting pictures of the landscape and flowers. But it is certainly a beautiful place to just walk around and take in the scenery and serenity of the place.

Relaxing and knowledgable staff. My son enjoyed the geo catching lesson. Beautiful paths, trees and flowers.

This is an excellent day trip just south of Overland Park. Easy to find with plenty of parking. There is no cost but donations are accepted and you will want to donate when you leave. There are miles of walking trails through all types of vegetation. Shade from the trees or open areas. This is definately kid friendly with childrens... More
