This center was very interesting. The tour guide was very helpful and informative. Great place to see. You must stop and check out the public bathroom. Wow! Neatest bathroom I've ever scene.

Unassuming but thoroughly fascinating look into the artistic compulsions of people, added to a great architectural mini-tour of how limestone became the building material of choice in central Kansas.

This is center that displays the creation of people who liked to create but who have had no formal training. The creations are simply amazing, and the Center's executive director, Rosslyn Schultz gives an excellent tour of the Center's exhibits and of a nearby home that is filled with "extraordinary art by ordinary people." We visit this place every time we are in Lucas. While it is small, exhibits are interesting, and there always seems to be something we cannot live without in the gift shop. We like to think the admission and any purchase made here will help assure that outsider art remains viable in this friendly little town and elsewhere.

Interesting art with small gift shop. Prices were reasonable but little inventory. Offers a tour for $7 which seemed a little pricey to me.

This is one of two places I would want to live after I retire. This tiny community is such a mecca for the handmade.

If you are interested in one of a kind, quirky art pieces, this is the place to come. Will never look at "junk" quite the same again.

This is an interesting attraction as long as you're already in Lucas to see the Garden of Eden, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it otherwise.

Well worth the time to visit and see the stunning folk art on display. This is a real gem and I can't see how anyone would leave disappointed after a visit.

It was a nice sized museum for a tiny town, but I kept seeing the same concrete with pieces of colored glass in it. There were a few different things, but I think "folk art" itself is really just for the creators hobby and not for being oh and ahhed at. Of course you could say I "just don't appreciate... More
