I loved going here. I was giddy like a little girl. Wizard of Oz has always been one of my faves and so it was really great to go here the grounds are adorable. It takes an hour or two but it is really fun and interactive there is a great Minchkinland play park perfect for picnics. The yellow brick... More

We loved it! It's an attraction that only takes an hour to two hours but it was fun. My granddaughter is enamored with The Wizard of Oz.. She insisted on wearing her Dorothy costume from Halloween. We got lots of great pictures and our tour guide (Dorothy) did a great job taking us through all the scenes in the movie... More

My family traveled all the way to Liberal, KS to visit this attraction. In order to tour Dorothy's house and Land of Oz, we had to go to the gift shop and purchase the tour. When we walked in, "Dorothy" greeted us and told us we could look around if we wanted because the gift shop was a museum also.... More

Move right on past this one. It is so contrived and hokey. Almost as bad as the Oz Museum in Wamego. Watch the movie instead.

The guide portrayed herself as Dorothy and did a great job. We visited Dorothy's house which had period furniture. The tour to the land of Oz was quite interesting. There was lots of memorabilia from the original Wizard of Oz movie.

I would say the Trip Advisor reviews (which I read before going--the attraction was on my way as I traveled south) are generally spot on. The staff we met were very nice, the museum next to the Oz attractions has some interesting stuff in it, the Oz layout is promising, but....as others have pointed out, the place needs some elbow... A fun experience and a great break from a road trip. They have dorothy's house and a walk through the Land of Oz as well as a playground for kids to get their energy out.

I think this was excellent for what it was. I read some of the negative reviews and one should keep in mind that this is not the Smithsonian. It is a small, rural town, that has done a great job of bringing Dorthy and the movie to life. The Land of Oz tour is something one individual originally put together... More

My daughter and I went on a weekend roadtrip and the highpoint of the trip was supposed to be Dorthys House. It was way overpriced for what you get. The girl playing Dorthy you could tell she didnt want to be there and her costume and hair were aweful. My daughter is 8 so she had a good time so... More

My trip to OZ was exciting...You never knew what would be around the next corner. The tour guide was 13 year old Brianna Headrick. She is now my newest pen-pal. She did a wonderful job of telling the story of Dorothy & TOTO. She lives in Liberal and has been doing the tours of the home and "OZ tour" for... More
