This a a really tiny museum, but it is fun to visit if you are true Wizard of Oz fans. It's easy to stop by for half an hour or so on your way through Liberal. Nice, landscaped grounds and very close to the main highway through town.

We took our 9 year old grandchild to see Dorothy's house. She thought it was a lot of fun. We arrived right at 9 AM but the place looked deserted. We walked around outside following the yellow brick road. By the time we made our way to the front of the Coronado Museum they were open. You pay for the... More

This place was awesome-in a weird and quirky way. Definitely not like a Disney quality attractions but lots of fun. The house is a real house from the era of Dorothy's. After you tour the house (which is nicely done, but my kids found it boring) you walk through the movie in a decorated warehouse. It was really cool! What... More

It is a nice place to visit. Needs some work but is still entertaining. The story line is basically the same. They have a yellow brick road you can walk on and buy bricks with your name on them. They have an exact replica of Dorothy's home. A nice gift shop and museum combined that you can walk through. Go... More

They have a tour available that you basically walk through the major events of the story. Very well done. The house and the museum re very interesting as well. You really should stop if you get near Liberal.

Ok, it's cheesy, it's not very exciting, but if you are a wizard of oz fan it is great. It shows the love that the artist that put it together has for the movie and the whole oz experience. Our Dorothy was very sweet and stayed in character so well. The land of oz tour is just a walk through... More

We saw Dorothy's House in a book of strange attractions in roadside America. We happened to be traveling through Kansas with our little dog that looks like Toto, so we took him to Dorothy's House, and it was great. We'll remember this fun attraction for a long time. It was modest and friendly, and the people were happy and nice.

If you have time (which I didn't), I highly recommend the tour. I heard several people say they were so glad they took it!

You likely have seen the "Wizard of Oz" movie. Dorothy's House brings this to life. There is a little museum gift shop that gives you an opportunity to commemorate that you visited. However the best part is the tour of the Land of Oz itself. Little Dorothies take you through. The only drawback is that the Dorothy who is volunteering... More

This is by far the WORST "museum" ever... We paid $7 per person, we did arrive late and some other lady gave us the tour. The house of dorothy is just full of old stuff that they "might" have used. The land of Oz is just a warehouse full of ugly mannequins and they're kind of scary. It would've been... More
