Move right on past this one. It is so contrived and hokey. Almost as bad as the Oz Museum in Wamego. Watch the movie instead.

The guide portrayed herself as Dorothy and did a great job. We visited Dorothy's house which had period furniture. The tour to the land of Oz was quite interesting. There was lots of memorabilia from the original Wizard of Oz movie.

I would say the Trip Advisor reviews (which I read before going--the attraction was on my way as I traveled south) are generally spot on. The staff we met were very nice, the museum next to the Oz attractions has some interesting stuff in it, the Oz layout is promising, but....as others have pointed out, the place needs some elbow... A fun experience and a great break from a road trip. They have dorothy's house and a walk through the Land of Oz as well as a playground for kids to get their energy out.

I think this was excellent for what it was. I read some of the negative reviews and one should keep in mind that this is not the Smithsonian. It is a small, rural town, that has done a great job of bringing Dorthy and the movie to life. The Land of Oz tour is something one individual originally put together... More

My daughter and I went on a weekend roadtrip and the highpoint of the trip was supposed to be Dorthys House. It was way overpriced for what you get. The girl playing Dorthy you could tell she didnt want to be there and her costume and hair were aweful. My daughter is 8 so she had a good time so... More

My trip to OZ was exciting...You never knew what would be around the next corner. The tour guide was 13 year old Brianna Headrick. She is now my newest pen-pal. She did a wonderful job of telling the story of Dorothy & TOTO. She lives in Liberal and has been doing the tours of the home and "OZ tour" for... More

For years, I have wanted to go here, but it is out of the way for most interstates. We had some extra time, so we took a longer route. What a mistake. This is someone's back yard that they added a yellow brick road along with a "tour". I was expecting a little more realism to the movie and a... More

Ended up here almost by accident, stopped to see the International Pancake Day Hall of Fame and during our tour there we learned that we were in town for Oz-Fest, and that Dorothy's actual house was just up the road! Of course we had to stop, very cool to say we actually stood inside of Dorothy's house. Even got to... More

Visited September 11, 2013 to September 18, 2013! Really enjoyed the Dorothy and Toto House! To me, every wants visit Mickey and Minnie, no one every thinks visit Dorothy and Toto! I like how the characters were named by author Frank L Baum! I like how he got the name Oz! Later, when came back and this was the question... More
