Before stopping by our hotel, The Best Western Lawrence, we stopped by the visitor's center. It's located at the Old Train Depot and hold some serious history to it. The flower garden and trees in front of the facility are beautiful and smell exquisite. The personnel working at the center were very helpful with all that was around Lawrence. Thank... More

Located in North Lawrence, we stopped by the Center when we were first starting to look for a home in Lawrence, and picked up a wealth of free info. They also have space to rent out for groups and receptions.

This is the old train station in North Lawrence. It has been renovated and acts as Lawrence Visitor Center as well as a place to host parties or functions. It is beautiful.

A great place to stop for information on Lawrence's colorful history. Self-guided tour maps are available for sites pertinent to Quantrill's raid. The center is located in an interesting old train station.
