We had so much fun shopping in the unique stores. There were also small restaurants along this street that would be fun to try. Since we are RV travelers, we have our meals in our RV.

I really enjoy this part of downtown Lawrence. It's so unique as there are tons of little gift shops, clothing stores and little places to eat. A fun way to spend an evening while in town.

Eclectic stores, restaurants and bars in a college town. Nice atmosphere and great shopping. Easy walk with lots to see and do.

I have eaten there at least three times and spent some time walking up and down the street. There's much to see and do, the buildings for the most part are very historical and host an assortment of shopping and entertainment.

Lawrence is only 40 minutes or so from the Kansas City MO area and is a perfect place to go for a day trip with family and friends, or just for a lunch. Massachusetts Street is the main street of the business area and has numerous restaurants and shops. Let’s face it, Lawrence is a college town, but it is... More

Made a trip or two down Massachusetts street. This is the college strip. There are many small restaurants and bars along the strip with unique and unusual foods. There are many different types of shops for shopping purposes. However, these places are mostly for the younger generation and parents who are getting they're kids into college and wanting to have... Old Downtown Shopping with the feel of being in a small town. The shops are mostly privately owned, unique and different than mainstream shopping. Wonderful for evening window shopping, unique gifts, good eats and ice cream, people watching and hearing street music. A crazy atmosphere if you happen to be there for Basketball championships or St.Patricks Day!

There is always something going on on Mass Street. You can find nearly any type of food you like, lots of bars and shops. It is very walkable and fun. I recommend a visit for anyone in the area.
