We usually go here once a summer. It is kinda pricy and the lines get long on a hot summer day but the kids area area are line free. I think any age will have a good time here and you can bring in a cooler with food to save you some money while there.

Our kids loved this park. I think it was a long drive (11 hours) to go to a water park, but it was a nice little vacation. I like that they put money on your wristbands, so you don't have to carry cash or credit cards in with you, and you can bring in your own coolers with food and... More

This place never lived up to the hype. Hasn't come close to being completed to their original plans. Disappointing. Lines are outrageously long most the time. Used to have season passes but that money now goes to another place over in Missouri. If they ever complete it, I may be back but it's not looking good. Place is almost land-locked... More

We went because our kids earned free tickets through a reading program. The park is small, tables were hard to find, and the smoking areas were right in the middle of all the action! I liked that we could bring our own food, but that is about it. People were literally spread out all over tables, and some guests were... More

A little pricey admission but free parking and you can bring in a cooler(no alcohol but you can buy it there.). Several lazy rivers and water slides including the highest slide in the world (17 stories). No real "swim" pool but lots of swallow places for small children, plenty of lounge chairs and picnic tables. Stays open until about 8... More

I took my grandkids (ages 8, 5) to Schlitterbahn and we had blast. I had to hang onto the little one so I could take the older one on some of the bigger rides, but it was great fun. The slides were awesome and the lines weren't too long like some other water parks in the Kansas City area. The... More

Park opened at 10am, we were there by 11am and already it was 5pm before we could get on the tall slide. (I'm not even going to try to spell it.) So, got signed up and got on the Lazy river. Lazy river is long, and definitely not boring. Has different rapids, paths, etc. After awhile stopped and got a... More

Schlitterbahn is by far the best waterpark I have visited. My family spent the entire day, lounging in floating lines and wave pools. The food was good and affordable. Would definitely recommend to any family traveling through!

This is a fun water park for kids of all ages and adults. The best ages probably ranging from 7-14. The very young kids / toddlers have only a limited amount of things to do. The children's area is small and freezing cold on a moderately warm days. The pirate ship is in warmer water, but it is sharing a... More

It would have been nice to not have the crowds so that each of the attractions could have been sampled but it was enjoyable just to leisurely float. Some staff seemed indifferent and/or bored but otherwise a fun time for those with children or grandchildren.
