My wife and I went to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. It was a terrible experience! First the lines were so long for buying tickets, bag check, lockers, you name it. Then there was the never ending wait for tubes. Sure this park has "free tubes" meaning you will be free from having a tube! This really stinks since 90%... More

From living in the area, I knew Schlitterbahn was a big deal. However, with a 3 1/2 year old I didn't want to pay the money for a small kids area. I was wrong! We were given some tickets so I took my little guy with some older cousins. We LOVED it! My adventurous little guy could go on over... More

This place is great! Take your water shoes as the concrete is very hot and not very smooth. It will rub your feet raw. They do need more slides. The lines take about 40 minutes to get to the top. The kids area by the pirate ship is cool. I wish they had a big pool with diving boards and... More

Went on july 10 and the water was freezing. People were complaining around us. The lines were about 30 min to an hour for the slides. We got there at 10:30 am. Tried to go down veruct but found out you have to ask for a time slot and all were filled before noon. Or wait for 3.5 hours. No... More

Second time to the park. Both times after some local schools started back to avoid the crowds. Was wrong....packed. Here is my take away. Get there early, prior to actual opening time. Hit as many slides as possible. Lines get huge!! The Storm Blaster line is 45+ minutes all day. If you want to do the verruct or the boogie... More

I have been to 3 of these and this is by far my favorite! Great price for the size of the park! The all day cabana rentals seem great but there are plenty of locations covered or shaded to set up your stuff. Lines are a long on some of the rides but move rather quickly! Food was priced as... More

Loved it even though the half of the staff was not very friendly. Was there the last Wednesday of the season but lines still long. BUYER BEWARE.... I bought the package that was admission ticket and souvenir water bottle. If you really want the bottle, grrat discount but...if getting for savings on refill, I feel I got ripped off. Food... More

visited last year on Labor Day weekend and partner wanted go to back again so we did on last weekend. Prepaid the tickets and arrived to as expected a long line waiting to get the wristband...wanted to rent a locker and they told us to go into the park instead (last year, the lockers by the entrance were available for... Get a summer pass and go after 500 on the weekdays. Everyone leaves in droves, front row parking and no wait in lines. It's awesome:)

The park is not really complete. It feels like you are in a construction zone that happens to have some water features. Piles of half inflated inner tubes are visible from many areas. It looks like there are many rides, but some (like the lazy river) just have a different name depending on where you enter it at. Waits are... More
