My husband and I went to schlitterbahn on a weekday. We would agree with most of the reviews that the lines were a little long. However, I think that is to be expected at a waterpark. It seems that the lifeguards wait quite awhile ( sometimes till the person gets to the bottom of the slide) till they let the... More

I visited the water park today with my sister, son and nephew! I was initially impressed with all the park had to offer. We found a picnic table, got the lay of the land and headed for the world famous lazy river! It's huge and connects you to the entire park. The down side??? The lazy river goes from smooth... More

Everyone goes to the Schlitterbaun for the precise reason to say they have ridden the Verruckt (world's tallest water slide). However, in order to be able to ride this, one must be at the park well before it opens in order to sprint to that particular attraction and wait in line to just reserve a chance to ride the water... Attended on Tuesday, July 29 and I asked a lifeguard if it is always this crowded and he said never.Usually the guards cannot even see the bottom of the "lazy rivers." Hard to believe. Every line was long, every table was full, the rivers were tube-to-tube. Kids without tubes get in the way of tubers in the river with the... More

I'm almost definitely going to kill myself now. This piece if Schlit scares me how bad it is. I met some guy(almost certainly chloroformed and hypnotised) in the line for a ride where i had to crawl part of cuz it was soooo slow, and he said this schlitty place was amazing!! Only ride that wasn't terrible had a 6... More

We have not been to the park yet, but called about reserving a cabana. This park needs to do some major effort at training employees. I am very familiar with hospitality customer service. The person I talked to on the phone was helpful, but lacked training on how to sell, communicate, and provide information. It seemed like I was talking... More

Fun waterpark. We spent most of our time doing the rapids and the wave pools as the lines for the slides were long, plus my son had a knee that wouldn't allow him to climb stairs. Food was predictably overpriced but they allow coolers and outside food/drinks, which was a bonus. We went on a Friday and spend a good... More

Went with a group for the first time yesterday and I will never ever go back. We did not encounter 1 pleasant employee the entire time!! They were out of pretzels, ketchup (how do you run out of ketchup????), mojito's, mai tai's and waffle fries. Other than the Verruckt, which only a limited amount of people get to ride, there... This park had a really fun wavy river. It also had 3 sets of rapids and several slides. After 3 pm, the price is significantly less and they are open until 8!
