I have talked to several people about how big the Schlitterbahn waterparks are in TX, so I am not sure what I was expecting, but it was a much smaller scale waterpark then what I expected. But we were not disappointed! Our family had a great time! We went on a Thursday and it was not crowded at all. We... More

This place isn't cheap by any means. We wanted to go on a Friday but the weather didn't cooperate. Ended up there on Saturday at opening time. It got crowded real quick. Me and my 5 year old waited over an hour for a ride and this was the first hour the place was open. The lines got super long... More

This park is really, truly a blast. The various lazy rivers are awesome, the water temperatures are pretty perfect, the slides are fun...it really could be a fantastic place, but it does have some big issues. First, you need to either bring water shoes to wear while you walk around the park or prepare for your feet to be on... More

I must say I MUCH more enjoy theme parks and roller coasters than water parks, so I didn't have high expectations, but I really enjoyed Schlitterbahn! I got there at 10:15 (park opens at 10) and waited in line for Verrute for 1 1/2 and then had another 7 hours to kill for my assigned time to ride it. That... More

We went on a Monday thinking during the week lines would be shorter. Not sure what weekends are like, but the wait was looooooong for all rides and lazy river was so crowded we got splashed and knocked all around making it not so lazy. I did VERY much appreciate that you can bring your own food/cooler and they provide... More

Put simply, the park needs serious work. It appears unkempt and unfinished. It is dirty, weeds and dead grass surround the sidewalks, potted flowers are dying everywhere, food service was awful (the poor workers can't hear you or see you for that matter because of the strange, distorted piece of plastic they work behind), ice machines were broken on two... We arrived at 11 and were told rides for the Verucht were booked for the day, the main reason we went. Did ride all the other water slides not too bad. The only 2 things that salvaged the day- you can bring your own cooler and the lazy rivers. Seems like the park is unfinished and not a whole lot... More

We are sorry to hear that you somehow did not realize that in addition to day of registration we also had a walk-up line for those who could not reserve their desired time. Everyone who got in line for Verrückt, the day you visited, got to ride. How the system works is, instead of getting to the park, getting in... More

Unless you get at the park at 9am you wont get to ride it even if nobody is there at the time. ,Prepare to run when you get in and it/s all the way at the other end of the park if you do get to ride it could be three hours so enjoy standing. this park SUCKS.

We are sorry to hear that you were somehow disappointed in the process we have in place to help our guests enjoy everything Schlitterbahn Kansas City has to offer. Everyone who got in line for Verrückt, the day you visited, got to ride. Just to clarify on how the system works, instead of getting to the park, getting in line... More

We went over the weekend with my 10 year old son. We purchased our tickets online & reserved a cabana. I would definitely suggest spending extra for the cabana. We enjoyed having a private area to sit that was covered, had a table & chairs & loungers for us to use. There are also servers that make sure you have... More

Bought tix at our hotel, managed to get the last cabana - first come first serve unless you purchase 3 days in advance online. Our cabana was a huge steamboat off the beaten path. Smaller cabana's have a better location. Our server was very nice. I could've rode the many lazy rivers all day and never stood in line for... More
