We love this lil zoo and buy a family pass every year even tho it is free to the public. It is just the perfect size. Not too big not too small. They hold all kinds of activities all year around for the community/youth. In the summer it's nice and shaded and a beautiful stroll. When we have out of... More

Although zoos are not my favorite type of attraction, I do recommend this one because of its excellent horticultural details. They also have lots of great fun educational programs for children.

We really love taking our kids here! This was our second visit, but the first time we had time to go through the entire thing. I just love the landscaping in this zoo, and you can tell they take great pride in keeping it up well! There are several animals for your kiddos to see and enjoy, and they are... More

Flint just turned one year old. Lisa the Zoo Director continues to make this a better zoo. Colleen, the Education Coordinator has classes on Mon, Wed, and Fri. We go every year. Visit soon. Spring and Summer will find this place in full bloom, from the many plantings

The park is a very nice picnic area and there is the most wonderful small train that takes the kids (big, little, young, old) around the perimeter. It brought back great memories for us and would create the same for the kids.. The zoo is not a huge zoo, but the animals were where you could easily drive through and... More

While visiting my son and looking for something to do, he suggested visiting the zoo. It's free ! It was a shock to see the beautiful landscaping and as many animals for being such a small zoo. We were very impressed. It's well worth a visit if your passing through town.

This was a very well landscaped small zoo. It had a very easy to walk path that can be done in about an hour or two.

Ok I have to say I landscaping in this zoo is the best I have seen in a long time! It is a smaller zoo but I enjoy it very much. We saw some animals that we have never seen before. If you get a chance you should stop by. Oh and it free!

This little zoo was a bit of a surprise. It's very small, but seems to be carefully maintained. Lovely walking paths, with beautiful landscaping. The animal pens are small but the animals seems to be healthy and well cared for. Children or gardeners will love to visit here. And it's free!
