Great way to see and hear the Dodge City story

The trolley was good. The information is prerecorded and the trolley must stay on schedule. Most information is about Fort Dodge and the meat processing plant. It does not give much of the history of the City of Dodge. It was interesting to know that for many years Dodge tried to shed its "violent" history. I am afraid it is... More

The Trolley tour was very informative about the characters and history of Dodge City. There was a taped narrative with a read along booklet. The driver was very friendly and added little stories and additional information at times. I think it was well worth the money. Tour lasted about an hour.

This is a great trip, take it when you come to Dodge, a lot of history. You get a good overview of how Dodge came about and what it is today

This is called a trolley, but really seemed like a bus with really hard wood bench seats. There is some interesting history here, but the trip is a bit long and boring. At least it is air conditioned. There is a recorded narrative given during the trip, but a more personal one by the driver would be my preference. If... More

Unlike some trolley tours this was not hop on hop off but instead an hour tour that gave you a good background to both the history and the present important events of Dodge City.

Disappointed that it didn't see more. Like maybe Windthorst Church the Cathedral is interesting too, House of Stone also.

Thank You so much for your comments. We'd love to get our guests out to all the surrounding communities, you are right, the Church in Windthorst is very beautiful! Unfortunately with the time allowed for the tour, we can't get there and back and offer all the other things there are see on the tour. We hope to be able... More

The nicest narrator I can remember. Having no idea what really existed my wife & I decided to take the Trolley & see what to go back on our own an see in detail. We shown a Harvey house like those I had read about in the western novels. AHUGE STOCK YARD JUST WAITING FOR COWBOYS TO DRIVE THEM. Old... More

Only an hour, reasonable priced, very knowledgeable guide. Don't miss this if you really want to know about the town, it's history and the real cattle town.

We arrived in time to catch an early tour. It was great to get the history and lay of the land before we hit the streets on our own. Helped us to know what we wanted to go back to and explore. The guide was mostly pre-recorded - but informative. The driver would also ad lib and answer questions. it... More
