Our family had a great time at Lost Island, and if it were up to my kids, we would return soon. We appreciated the variety of slides - appropriate for all ages. The roller coaster-type slide (Wailua Kupua) was especially impressive. A couple items to note for potential families. First, in our experience the park is inconsistent in its enforcement... More

Great water park. The only problems in that parks its the food station, they only have one and the lines really long. The other one its the open time, they start to sale the tickets like 7min. Later than the open park hour. They should start to sale the tickets one hour before the park open. That an amazing water... More

Lost Island is a water park in Central Iowa that is a great place to spend the day. Lots of water slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and a water coaster! There are two restaurants, snack shacks and grown-ups can even pick up some "adult" frozen drinks or beer to enjoy. There are cabanas that can be rented, but those... More

We took two 7 year old kids to the water park. It was clean and friendly. The rides were great for that age. I will go again

This park is a hidden gem in the midwest. Water and grounds were clean, and water temperature was perfect. Prices for admission, food and sundries (lockers and sunscreen) were reasonable. We wanted to rent a cabana, but they were all sold out, but we found some chairs that stayed in the shade most of the day. The park could use... More

This has something for everyone! A lazy river to relax, water slides for the smallest to the most daring. I would recommend eating somewhere else. The concession stand is WAY overpriced and the quality of fare is typical of a concession stand food. There are zip lines, mini golf, and go karts for an additional charge.

We rented a deluxe cabana. There was only one server so the service was very slow. She was apologetic and very friendly. Obviously needed more help. Other guests kept coming into the private area. Cabana was nice it came with lounging chairs out of the sun and waters. The slides where great. I would reccomd shoes for little ones the... More

One of the best water parks we have been to! The park is immaculate. A great thing....they allow you to check out and return back to the park- which works out wonderfully to have a picnic lunch in the parking lot or on the grassy area outside the park. When you're there with a large family, that is definitely one... More

For the cost, Lost Island is a good deal. We took our 4 kids their (ages 9 - 2) and they all found plenty to do. The park is big, but small enough to find each other after splitting up for rides. We brought a cooler of food in the car and just ate under a tree by the parking... More

We really enjoyed our recent trip to Lost Island with our 10 and 7 year olds. It's a great park with many positives, and being from NE IA, we're proud of its Top 10 ranking! It really can claim something for everyone, from great play areas for young children to some rides that should maybe be illegal (I'm looking at... More

myinfo4u - Thank you for taking the time to give us such comprehensive feedback! We are very pleased that your family enjoyed their visit. Your observation regarding guests in Tahiti Village is concerning, and the lifeguard staff should have been paying closer attention to the slides, and I will be discussing proper vigilance with staff today. Swimwear is not specifically... More
