I was so pleasantly surprised with Lost Island in Waterloo. They tons of great slides and a decent wave pool to boot. I've only been to a few parks in my life, but this was the best thus far. I plan on going back next year for sure. more

Every Summer my boyfriend & I (mid 20's) go to the Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo. We have gone for the past 4 years and have yet to have a bad experience that will not bring us back. Admission is $23/person, but we find that reasonable after going to other waterparks. We take one day out of our summer just... more
I was there on a windy day a week ago which might have affected my opinions slightly.. =( (1) Water was freezing cold.. (2) Park was smaller then what I expected for the price.. =) (1) Love the rides! more
My family & myself go to the Lost Island about 3 times every summer. When our family comes up from Florida, that is one of the first things our nephews want to do. We always get treated with the upmost respect. It is truely a family team they have there. The owner has always greated us and remembers us. Talk... more

I took my kids ages 11& 15 and they each took a friend while my husband was in Canada. We are from the Quad Cities so it was a 2 hour drive so we spent the night before and went to the water park the next morning. We all had a BLAST there are so many different things to do... more

The park was priced expensive which concerned me but after being there I can understand why. Parking is free... more
First when we parked, we did not have to pay for parking. I though for sure we would have to pay something. We got there about 1:00, and parking still was easy. The slides were great. The park was really clean. I was very impressed. The staff was a lot of fun. They would splash you with water while you... more
My wife and I just visited Lost Island July 8, 2005. We have been to other large national waterparks and were skeptical about even trying Lost Island. The waterpark doesn't have the number of slides that other larger midwestern parks have, but I am so glad we gave it a chance. There is enough here to keep kids/adults of all... more
the day my grandchildren were there they closed an hour early, at 530p.m. I thought $18.50 was a little high for children 10 years and younger and the same price for adults. I wouldn't have minded paying $25.00 a person, if they had included the minature golf and car track. all in all, it was a little high. more
