Luckily this gem was saved from the flood. A wonderful depiction of life for Lewis and Clark as they passed through the area. Also changing films on different subjects. My favorite was on the Sioux City Stockyards in it's hey day. Also an ever changing art and photo display. One of my favorite places to take visitors.

This center located along the banks of the Mighty Mo is a tribute to Lewis and Clark and the history of the area. The sculptures outside are worth a photo op. and the kids will enjoy the exhibits. We stopped off here with some friends who wanted to check it out (they are American History teachers). I was not expecting much, but it was very informative and the display and building was really nice. They did a good job with this place and we were pleasantly entertained and surprised.

The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is Free to attend, but you will want to give a freewill offering after you have toured this.
The Interpretive center is located in the Betty Strong Encounter Center
The entire Center is highly educational and will leave you filled with Pride.
The Photography exhibits of Americana are museum quality and are worth driving...
