Located in a majestic mansion on the western side of town, the museum is obviously a pride of the community and a wonderful place to visit. Be sure to ask for the location of the Dyer Mansion as well and have lunch at the Country Junction.

The old house and furnishings are interesting, our guide was thorough and excellent. Surprisingly, this heterosexual male found the dolls interesting; some real antique dolls, plus Kewpie dolls, Barbies, Shirley Temple, and much more. The dolls with three faces were a little creepy, two are supposed to be covered by a bonnet, I think. Each room is a surprise.

She showed us every inch of the house incuding the basement. Not only are the dolls exciting to see, but the furnishings in the house are magnificent. For a tour of yesteryear this is a... More
