This is a large tract of land devoted to enjoying the environment. There is a variety of terrain and hiking trails. You can stand on the shore of the Mississippi River, ramble a trail along Catfish Creek, hike through the woods. Great place to wear out the kids and the dog (on leash). Just outside of town. More

We took the girls here for some quality family & nature time. Had a great time hiking the trails. We went only @ 3 miles but the terrain was challenging enough for our daughters (aged 5 & 9). Definitely something we want to do again. More

Wander on your own or visit the Nature center for DNR folk who provide insights into the local flora and fauna. Close to town but feels like the middle of no where. Great way to get close to nature without going far. More

Find the lone trail that goes to the top of the bluff - the one that most tourists don't go on. It's a great place to meditate and take in the beauty of the area. More

This park has it all. Trails, high bluffs, monuments, canoe entry, Nature center for an indoor experience. Beautiful and free! Use your GPS to find, it's tucked in a kind of hard to locate spot. More
