Great way to enjoy the river. The history and the scenery was amazing. We will do it again. The price was right too.

My husband, son and I took the trip last year and parts of it was very enjoyable but the person talking was very bored with what he was doing and couldn't really understand anything he said and I believe it is his children that are helping out on the boat. There was a young man (between 10-12) that had to... More

We were given 2 tickets for the dinner cruise at the spur of the moment and showed up right before the boat cast off. The boat was a little dated, but very spacious. We cruised the Mississppi River on a warm, beautiful early evening. The prime rib dinner was one of the best prime ribs I have ever had. We... More

No better way to experience the Mississippi River. We took a 1 1/2 hour tour. Beautiful fall scenery. Went in to see the Captain and what he does. They offered food and beverages.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon cruise. It was one and a half hours 3 - 4:30pm. The weather was brisk but we were able to get on the top deck for most of the cruise. It was easier to hear the announcer on deck than in the cabin. You could purchase refreshments and everyone had a bag... More

10 of us took the 2-hour lunch/historic cruise on the Miss Dubuque. For such a group the length was just about perfect. The ones interested had enough time and the ones who were only mildly curious weren't overloaded. Nancy, the hostess, was very helpful in keeping us informed as to how the lunch was going to be run and when... More

We took the 1.5 hour tour at 3 p.m. We were disappointed that it was too windy for the paddleboat and that we had to take the cruiser. The scenery at this part of the river is fairly average, but the trip was informative and relaxing.

Have you ever taken a class where the teacher spoke in monotones? and no matter how long he had been teaching, still seemed to be reciting the info? Did you love it - then this is the tour for you. We did enjoy the 1.5 hour tour, the scenery was spectacular and the 1.5 hour length was enough, never a... More

We went for the 1 1/2 hour ride and had a wonderful time. The Captain explains all about the Mississippi River and the surrounding area of Dubuque, IA and just being out on the river is fun. I would take the ride again.

Scenery is beautiful up to the locks where you spend 20 plus minutes going up once out of the boring locks they turn the boat around and go right back into the locks to go back down. So you spend 40 to 50 minutes in the locks. Who's idea was that? The food servicers appeared to be bored but had... More
