When we booked our trip we were told that the boat departs at 11:30AM and we should arrive at 11:00AM. We got there at 10:45AM and were told that the departure time was not until 12:00PM. This was a good thing to do on our trip. The scenery was really nice, and you learned a lot. We saw a lot of wildlife, and someone said they saw an eagle too. I especially liked seeing the big houses up on the bluffs overlooking the river. __ more

My husband, 70 year old mom and myself took the trip in August 2006. Food was great, secenery was beautiful. We had a really good time and would recommend this cruise to anyone. We really enjoy any of the Dubuque Riverboat trips. They are relaxing with good entertainment and a very knowledgeable captain about the area. We take a trip on one of these boats at least once or twice a year. more

We took the afternoon sightseeing cruise. Up the Mississippi to above the Hwy 61 Bridge and back down the river to south of the Hwy 20 Bridge.
