I would highly recommend to those interested in this sort of thing! I don't have an endless amount of things to say about it, but it was unique.

This is a small art museum but we found the Grant Woods worth the visit. During their regional biennial event you see great work from around the midwest. Easy parking. Worth seeing.

We were fortunate to enjoy the exhibit of the area art competition. We were impressed with the variety & quality of the entries. Loved the exterior sculpture of the modern American Gothic couple. It was a fun experience. It's a small center, but it offers excellent art!

Went to a lecture (weekly) a few weeks ago. Enjoyed it as well as the art & children's project that was being featured that month. Well worth a visit

But they also offer the "Dead Artist" series, where actors portray a famous artist and give a lecture as that character and allow questions following the presentation. The museum reaches out to the community -... More
