My Wife and I go to Diamond Jo's all the time. I don't gamble a whole lot but my wife does. She always uses her Diamond card. Diamond Jo's casino hosts , Amy, Tod, and Terri have treated us with the upmost respect. We live about two hours away and when we call they do their best to get us... More

The Diamond Jo is a fun place to spend a few hours gambling. They used to have the fun table game, "let it ride," but they got rid of it. They need to keep that game! Not super crowded on a Saturday night and not overwhelming.

This is your typical run of the mill casino. Lots of smokers inside and poor air quality. Lot's of penny machines.

We come to this casino every so often. It never has a smoke smell, it is clean and the cleaning people walking around are very vigilant about cleaning ashtrays and taking away any garbage in between machines. We have more luck here than at Mystique so we tend to spend more time here. It's fun to get away for the night,... More

Stopped here while in Dubuque for the day. Unbelievable how terrible this place is. The dealers we played with and pit bosses have the personality of a cardboard box. This place is perfect for the residents of Dubuque! Also, filthy bathrooms..

They try to disguise the smoke with a perfummy spray...sorry it doesn't work when your casino is busy. Also can we stop men from smoking cigars, that is the worst smell EVER. And no amount of perfume can hide it. Also buffet it poor. The soft serve ice cream is more like soft serve ice, there is no or little... More

If you need to kill a couple of hours, or just want to gamble a little, then you can visit this place. Typical casino, plenty of games, not too crowded. The place was very cold and loud. Free coffee to keep you warm.

Was down in Southern MN so decided to cross the border and check out Diamond Jo. Upon entering it appears they ID almost everyone, and it takes a few moments as they scan your drivers license. The casino is not huge but they have a variety of slot machines and even some you cannot find in MN. Drinks are reasonably... More

To our surprise (my husband and I are in our 40-50's), we were asked for our IDs before entering the casino. Really? It may be protocol, but it was ridiculous how rude and unwelcoming the staff were! Power trip? As expected, the casino was extremely loud. People looked miserable and in a daze as they continued to gamble (and lose).... More

I could not get out of this place fast enough. Very depressing. Before entering the 2nd door to the casino I could smell the odor of cigarettes. Really bad. The locals call the place "The Ashtray". A casino is a casino, though I do not remember the odor in other casinos. A better way to give away your money, get... More

We would like to apologize for the cigarette odor in the casino. We have a great ventilation system for the smoke but sometimes when guests are playing machines nearest to the casino entrance, that can be the first thing someone encounters when they walk in. We do offer a non-smoking section of slot machines located inside the Mississippi Moon Bar.... More
