we like to go to Dubuque, Ia because there is lots to do in Dubuque and there are two casinos and dog track. Diamond Jo has good food at MoJo café and deli if you want a fast meal. Most of time the buffet is good, but I look at it before I buy just in case there are too... More

The casino has some of the newest machines and lots of room. Machines are kept clean and free of clutter. Hostess came around quite often to get you drinks. Didn't win but my money lasted quite awhile

Super friendly staff! The buffet was well stocked with hot fresh food. The crab legs were delicious and plenty of them. The prime rib was over done but had a good flavor. Smoking is allowed but wasn't smoky like some casinos can get. Lots of fun current slot machines. The free drinks were nice too! Very clean.

This place was cool. It was clean, the staff was helpful when I was asking questions about the area. There was alot of food here. Free beverages! Smoking! A bowling lane and other restaurants on the second floor. Nice stop

We went here to ring in the New Year with 3 other couples. It was a typical casino and of course crowded for new years. I was disappointed that my B-connected card didn't work in the machines and we had to go to the club to get their card although they said the points would be credited to our B-connected... More

Went for our 2014 last dinner for celebration of new year. More than half of meals including appetizers and entrees were disappointing. The food is way over priced. A place full of cigarette smell not well ventilated. There was no Buffet as indicated on its Twitter? The server was friendly. Maybe the upstairs bowling alley is a place worth to... More

We apologize that your New Year’s Eve Celebration was not up to your expectation. Currently all of our restaurants are smoke free, with Woodfire Grille, Mojo's Sports Bar and Jo's Delicatessen sitting isolated from the Casino floor. The Kitchen Buffet is located on the casino floor and was open on New Year's Eve from 5:00pm until 10:00pm. More

We spent New Years at the casino and attended the Dueling Pianos show in the Mississippi Moon Bar. Great entertainment! The casino is beautiful, altho I didn't leave with extra money. But it is a casino after all! We weren't hungry enough to do their New Years Eve buffet, so we went upstairs to Mojo's sports bar for a smaller... More

We walked out with $$ in our pockets so we're happy. Diamond Joe is a newer & pretty clean casino. You don't smell the smoke like you do in other casinos, but the air deodorant they pipe throughout the casino is a little overwhelming and gave me a headache! It's really dark in this place also. We will return when... More

I didn't care for this casino. Looks every bit like a vegas casino but has horrible 6/5 and 7/5 video poker machines that are very tight. I blew through 50 bucks on VP faster than any of my 300 VP sessions in Vegas. It's only fun if you have a chance.

The Diamond Jo has poker themes from penny, nickel, quarter, fifty cent, $1, $2 and $5. Our poker payback ranges from 95% up to 99%. Although it is relative to what denomination you are playing. In the Strictly Slots magazine “Best of 2014” article Diamond Jo Dubuque was voted the best video poker in the state of Iowa. Our poker... More
