Had a late night evening meal here. My husband and I had to endure very mediocre service and entertainment by a solo guitar player. Chicken fingers were great, but the rest was fair. Very unlike a previous visit in April '14 which was wonderful.

This is a good casino with a dog track. Nothing super special. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Brightly lit and spacious and not super crowded even on a Saturday night.

Visited here the other day.. Pit bosses wouldn't open up a $25 blackjack table for us. Left soon after so we didn't have to play with bad players. They must have enough business and didn't care about our play.

Beautiful casino that is huge! Lots of different slots and games to play. Sign up for players card to get $5 playing bonus. The staff were friendly and it seemed to us that the games paid out better than other casinos. There is a non-smoking area, which is appreciated, but the whole casino didn't seem smokey on a Monday afternoon.... More

Two casinos in this town. I can't believe the difference in operations. Mystic appears dark and unclean, with the staff not caring if you are there or not. If you have a problem or question staff act like they are going out of there way to assist you. The stench of smoke is so bad that my clothes go straight... More

The food and service is great. Very friendly atmosphere. It is nice for we smokers to have a place to go where we don't have to hide outside in dark alleys. The gambling is about what you would except, but you don't think you really going to beat the house?

I stopped here with my older parents and they very much enjoy this casino. As others have mentioned, it is very smoky (indoor smoking in IA in public is pretty much limited to casinos). They have a wide variety of slots and video-based machine as well as well-kept table games. The staff is very friendly and there are always people... More

This was your typical gambling casino and you could really smell the smoke upon entering. This was right down from our hotel - Hilton Garden Inn.

Looked out our hotel window around 9 AM this morning and found this race track. Nine greyhounds were lead out of their cages. Not altogether but in groups and were then raced around the track -- warm-up time. Some dogs did only one lap while others did two. There were 2 all white greyhounds among the group which I've never... More

The only drawback for us is that there is no non-smoking section in the casino. Everything you'd want/need is right there. Attached hotel, race track, buffet....all good.
