I have been to the zoo in different capacities. I have experienced the zoo during zoo brew which I think is definitely a fun time for the over 21 crowd. I have also experienced the zoo with my two young nephews who found the zoo exciting and wonderful. It's not a large zoo but it's a nice zoo. We also... More

This should be number one or number two on your itinerary!! Went with a 3 year old, 4 year old, and husband. I purchased a bundle at a pretty affordable price that included admission for one day, train ride, Mary-go- round ride, and my kids got to feed a few animals as well. When we got to go, all the... This is a small, low budget zoo in a park setting. It's been a round for a while and it is showing it's age. There are lots of mature trees and shade and the walkways are clean and comfortable. However, most of the enclosures are not kept up and are out of date with modern zoo animal enclosures. Case in... More

Go to Zoo Brew. I repeat GO TO ZOO BREW! It is a blast. You get to socialize, drink and be around the animals in the zoo. So much fun. The zoo is also great for families during the day without being during zoo brew.

Although not as large as some zoos, it is easy to spend a day here. Able to get close to the animals and get some great photos. At some zoos, the animals are so far away that you can't even see them. Nice enclosures for the animals. Watched zoo staff feeding penguins, feeding giraffes, and a seal/sea lion demonstration. Very... More

I had a wonderful time at the Blank Park Zoo, and I would recommend this zoo to others. It was a pleasant surprise when I could feed a parakeet, ride a camel, and feed a giraffe. They have lots of animals, including some that are rare or almost extinct. Something that made me happy was how the caregivers to the... More

We visited here while in the area. Sea lion show was awesome, but no seating....was short though, so was ok. We spent about 4 hours here and felt it was worth the admission. It was smaller than I expected, but we were not disappointed. Be sure to find and go inside the discovery center....we almost missed it, and it was... More

My husband and I took our 16 month old to Blank Park Zoo on memorial day weekend. The parking made it seem like it was going to be very very busy however, when we got inside it didn't seem busy or overly crowded. There are quite a bit of variety of animals... compared to large zoos yeah... not nearly as... More

This is a nice zoo for its size. It is especially suited for families with young children as there is a lot for them to experience and see. It is a nice way to spend a few hours.
