My husband and I took our 4 year old twins to the zoo....it was great. The zoo had lots of things for little ones to keep them interacting, hands on exhibits, bird feeding, petting zoo...even a camel ride! The kids loved it!

Admission fees are high for what they have to offer. They don't have many animals. You can get through the entire zoo in an hour. Spend the time and effort and go to Omaha for a better experience.

We had so much fun walking around the zoo and seeing the animals. Unfortunately we weren't there when it was warm enough for some of the animals to be out. It was great to be able to walk aroung and have the walabies hopping around next to you and being able to see them up close. We have scheduled another... More

Blank Park is a nice little zoo. It can easily be covered in half a day, or longer if you choose. It is well maintained and regularly upgraded. It has a small indoor rainforest, a nice petting zoo, a new sea lion exhibit, camel rides, and a train. Overall it's a nice family outing. We have a membership and visit... More

Great atmosphere, no crowds, no screaming kids, very relaxed. I enjoyed the different combinations of taste testing on different nights. There is homecraft beer one night, local wines one night, etc. I could also make contact with local companies and plan a trip to their locations.

Two words: zoo brew, Every wednesday during the summer, after the park closes, it opens up for folks over 21 for live music, a little beer sampling (they often run out super early and you have to wait in lines for a sample), and a chance to walk around the zoo with a beer in your hand with out all... My kids always have the best time at the fair. The animals are close so the kids can see them easily. There are many things for all ages to see and do--like ride a camel or elephant, feed the goats and fish.
