I am originally from Iowa and have always had great memories of Blank Park. While visiting a friend, we took our children to the zoo for a morning trip. It's even better than I remember. Perfect size for small children. We were able to get up close to the exhibits. The zoo itself was very well kept and had a... More

If you are looking to spend a couple of hours with the animals here is the place! The Blank Park Zoo is small but is growing! The animals are awesome and well cared for and the information you can learn from the staff is awesome too!

Really nice Zoo for families with small children who want to spend a couple hours viewing animals from all around the world. Remember this is not a huge zoo but it is very well kept, a great variety of animals, birds, fish, and reptiles. There are several interactive areas that cost additional money to participate, such as feeding and riding.... More

Growing up close to Omaha my review is biased. My kids loved the petting zoo part and feeding the fish. If not for the North American Otter Exhibit sponsored by a local swim team with the name "Otters" my kids would've wanted to leave after 1 hour. The zoo is clean and staff are very pleasant.

An excellent zoo for all ages. It is not so terribly big that you feel you have to spend 8 hours there to see everything despite everyone being exhausted by hour 4! There are some inside exhibits near the entrance.

Smaller than expected, but had different animals we had never seen before. It only took us two hours to walk through. There are a lot of extra things to pay for inside the park (ex: camel ride, train, feed the animals), which we thought was ridiculous considering the price for a family of four to get into the park.

The zoo is fun for all ages and offers a lot of hands on learning and interaction with animals. The bundles for feeding the animals and the rides will save you a few bucks and are available at any of the paying attractions.

Blank Park Zoo is so tiny, it puzzles me why it exists. Take away the large petting zoo, and there's not much more to it. So, if you're looking for a petting zoo for kids, this place is amazing. If you're looking for a real zoo, go to Omaha. But then ... Zoo Brew ... For the summer months, they... More
