Lovely park for a run or a bike ride and in-line skating which I did! Very green and pretty with many other options for outdoor activities!

Greys Lake is one of my favorite places to go when I just need to get away from the traffic and the city for a while. There is always good people watching available!

They need to pick up after dogs and not let children in diapers swim in their lake. The water just looked gross and dog droppings everywhere. Yuck, no way would I ever swim there! (shiver)

We spent a few hours walking here on a Saturday morning and loved it. There were so many birds singing and the bridge is just beautiful! We even saw a nesting Bald Eagle, which my 9 year old loved. The walk was about 2 miles, which was a good amount for all of us. We noticed several connecting bike paths,... More

Gray's Lake had been and still is one of our favorite walks. The trip around the lake takes more than 5 minutes, so look at how long it is and determine how much time you need. It looks like during the summer there are now Hobie Cat sailboats for rent. The only time I've been on the lake is during... More

SO much to do here & bonus - some of it is FREE! Free: Bike, job, run, rollerblade, play at the park, climb trees, hang out at the beach, watch wildlife/eagles, geocache, people watch, sit on the beach, swim (if you dare swim in Iowa lakes:) For a fee: kayak, pedal boat, paddle board... I'm sure there are more options... More

The lake is smallish but big enough for small boats and radio control enthusiasts. The paths are smooth and well-landscaped, and there are great viewing points around the lake. There is plenty of space for families and friends to spread out, play friendly sports, and just have a picnic. Close to downtown and residential areas, this park seems to carve... More

Gray's Lake Park has a swimming beach, walking/bike path around the lake, peddle boat rentals and attracts those liking to throw a line in the water.

Gray's Lake Park is a nice large park that wraps around the lake. There are trails, benches, and lots of places to enjoy the scenery.
