The lake is smallish but big enough for small boats and radio control enthusiasts. The paths are smooth and well-landscaped, and there are great viewing points around the lake. There is plenty of space for families and friends to spread out, play friendly sports, and just have a picnic. Close to downtown and residential areas, this park seems to carve... More

Gray's Lake Park has a swimming beach, walking/bike path around the lake, peddle boat rentals and attracts those liking to throw a line in the water.

Gray's Lake Park is a nice large park that wraps around the lake. There are trails, benches, and lots of places to enjoy the scenery.

There's an array of things to do here - you can rent kayaks etc, swim, fish, there's a wonderful walking path that's paved. Trees all around - an oasis in the middle of the city :)

Ran there from our downtown hotel along the river path. Clean, safe and lovely running path and even saw bald eagles in their nest by the lake! Perfect way to start the day!

The walkway over the lake is lit at night with colored panels in front. Making a pleasing reflection in the water or ice dependent on the season. River flows on one side with an eagle's nest in the trees. Often, there are eagles flying. Great place for kayaking - especially lounging under the walkway above the lake on a hot... More

The view of the city from the pedestrian bridge is awesome. The bridge also lights up in geometric triangles at night. Great place to take pictures.

I love walking here, it has a 2.2 K loop, along the river you can see birds, and eagles fishing and sometimes eaglets popping there heads out of a nest. It has a nice view of the down town sky line. In the spring and summer there are prairie wildflowers to enjoy as well. A safe place for seniors -... More

This park is on Fleur Drive across from The Water Works on the south side of downtown. It has a bike/walking path that circles the lake. The beautiful pedestrian bridge is lighted with different colors at night. Very popular on a nice day. Gets lots of use.

Walk around the lake for exercise was fun, enjoy the night lights. Planing to go back there once a week.
