Each of our 3 grandsons spends 1 wk with us and a visit to the Science Ctr is a request we get by all 3 every year. Parking ramp nearby for easy access. Wish some exhibits would be updated and/or changed out more often.

We had attended the Science Center through the years, but it didn't hold our kids attention long enough. We thought it was too expensive for a family activity for the regular exhibits. They just held their first Mini Maker Faire, we used a GroupOn coupon, so it was 1/2 off admission, that was worth the price. Many more rooms were... More

Saw a lot of original ideas. A lot of hands on stuff for kids. It was a little crowded. There was an awesome laser light show and Lego activities.

We all learned something and had a great time. It is very informative and an amazing time for kids and parents to have together.

We had a good afternoon here, even kept the teenagers interest. The IMAX movie was my first and very cool. I would have thought that they would have more exhibits because they did not lack space. And the parking situation could be improved.

As our children are getting older (ages 8 & 9) we have started relying more on Science Centers and less on Children's Museums as a form of hands on fun and education. This facility was large and many exhibits looked brand new so we were initially excited when we walked in. But sadly, it seemed that in about 1 hour... More

We enjoyed our time doing "science-y" things and learning more about the experiments, interactive stations and watching the movie one the big screen. There is something there to entertain almost everyone.

This is by far one of the best science centers I have been to. I would recommend you have at least 3 hours. The cost is $11.00 for adults and children 2 to 12 and under are $7.00. You have to pay for parking and it runs $3.00 for the first hour and then $1.00 each additional hour OR if... More

This was the last stop on our weeklong vacation. It surpassed my expectations. The interactive exhibits were fun and interesting to the kids. They were learning and having fun at the same time. It was not crowded so they could take their time and tweak their projects and try different things. Another thing we really liked was the events during... More

We went here as we were visiting for a week while my husband worked in Des Moines. We came on a Monday because I saw on their website that they have story time at 10:30am. The story time was fun, as the gal read a few books on the screen & all around the rest of the wall/ceiling was scenes... More
