This building is beautiful from lower level to the top floor. There is so much to learn and the information is so interesting. Allow to be there for at least a half a day. It will take that long to get a taste of the many rooms with so much to see. A real jewel on the river.

This place has good intentions, but who wants to go read a bunch of posters and plaques when they can look up the same info on Google?!? Went once, saw all there was to see, and won't be back.

My husband and I enjoyed visiting the Iowa Hall of Pride and feel everyone in Iowa should visit this. There is so much to be proud of in Iowa because we have so many talented and gifted people.

This is a very cool exhibition that they have put together. It is more interesting if you have interest in sports but there is a nifty agriculture and Iowa section as well!

We went through this one afternoon while waiting for a show at the civic center, and I learned a lot about Iowa that I did not know. Its a pleasant learning experience.

I learned that John Wayne came from Iowa and that Iowa has 55,000,000 hens that lay eggs and that one egg served out of every five come from Iowa. with info like that you can be the hit of every party.

What a gem. I was not expecting a whole lot. We just went to spend some time with our granddaughter (10 years old) from Arizona. So many interactive exhibits she thoroughly enjoyed it. We did to. The staff were so friendly. We were asked by more than one member of on several occasions if there was anything they could help... More

Great place to learn of Iowa sporting history. A Little dull for the younger children we wee with. The museum curator obviously doesn't have children as he was not understanding of their level of energy and enthusiasm. Don't touch anything when he is around.

We stopped expecting a "who's who" exhibit of famous Iowans. It is that... but so much more. There are interactive stations covering many fields of endeavor including sports, athletics, farming, medicine, music, and hollywood. We thought we would spend an hour or less but spent more than two. Worth seeing.
