Love the cubs, see future stars, great location, Chicago dogs, grand slams, fireworks, beer and crafted beers.

Opening ceremony for World Series was held here and was a great place! Also attended a game while in town. Son had a great time and prices were reasonable.

I recently moved to Des Moines and attended opening day at the park. It is a really lovely stadium with great seating in all sections. Wonderful dining and drink selections for a minor league park. I am from Milwaukee, and it reminded me of a smaller version of the Brewer's Stadium. On Friday nights, the game is followed by free... More

Watched the Cubs beat the Redbirds 9-7. Minor league baseball at it best. Stadium is fan friendly, not a bad seat in the house. Cold beer, and great dogs!

Triple AAA baseball with the Iowa Cubs makes Principle Park the place to be. Excellent baseball as you watch tomorrow's stars today. The facility is top-notch with not a bad seat in the house. The prices are very reasonable for every level seat. If you like baseball, Principle Park will provide just about the best!

We enjoyed a Iowa Cubs game last Friday. Here are reasons you should catch a game. 1. There isn't a bad seat in the ballpark. Tickets are cheap too. 2. Food-Great ball park food-nachos, dip and dots, hot dogs, funnel cakes, etc. 3. Between inning entertainment-tee shirt cannon, races, kiss cam, etc. 4. Fireworks after the game-yes it was because... Awesome venue to take family or have business outing. Great entertainment for the price, nice location on the river. Friday night fireworks are excellent bonus.

A very busy saturday night, a family night out with cheaply priced tickets, fun entertainment and food and drinks. The home team lost on the night we went but it was still an enjoyable experience. A typical real American culture thing to do!

If you are in Des Moines for a few days take a visit out to principal park for an Iowa Cubs game. Tickets are cheap and beer and food is reasonably priced for a ball park.
