Great place to watch a game.

Great place to watch a game. I don't think that there is a bad seat in the park. The prices at the box office and concession stands are great too!

Loved seeing the game at this beautiful park! It was very easy to get around, service was great and the game was exciting! I will go back again to see the Iowa Cubbies.

As the title insinuates, I went kicking and screaming, as I truly don't like baseball, but I had a great time! Principal Park itself was easily accessible in all aspects (roads, parking, seating), and the atmosphere was much like a spic-and-span State Fair or Carnival! Lots of freebies and other fan fun, and the people were so hospitable! The adults... More

It's not the major leagues, but it's the next-best thing! Close to a vibrant downtown and lots to do. Parking is easy and close to everything. Modern Day Park with gorgeous view of the river and downtown Des Moines. The waterpark in right field is great for little kids and the picnic areas in the outfield provide a different view... More

Nice AAA baseball stadium. Close to downtown for after game activities, but plenty of things to see at the stadium. From gifts shops, local brewery stands, to a kids area that is fantastic. Games are alway interactive and enjoyable.

Recently attended an Iowa Cubs game with picnic dinner for our large group (200 consultants). Arrived early, got served promptly, had ample food and drinks, then found our seats along the third base line for a nice evening of baseball. The event folks enabled one of our folks to do the first pitch, and we were on-screen for the seventh-inning... More

great AAA ballpark, with lots to do and a great view of downtown. Nice little area around there to get drinks and food before and then just walk to the game.

We were lucky enough to arrive in Des Moines in time to catch a minor league ball game at this nicely done ballpark. It happened to be bring your dog night and that added to the fun. Everyone from the ticket seller to the ushers to the vendors were very friendly. We were able to walk right up and buy... More

Fun game with a great crowd! If you are going to an evening game, sit on the 3rd base side due to the sunset. Also, Friday nights they have fireworks after the Cubs game and you can find REAL craft beer here!
