We have gone to the Principal park several times and have enjoyed it every time. We were thrilled one night to greet and get the autograph of Ryan Sandberg of the Chicago Cubs, who has always been a favorite of ours. The usual concessions with the usual prices but it is a very fun time to take a family and... More

We love the I-Cubs...and I am a Yankee fan!!! My Chicago-Cubs-fan-husband and I bought a mini-pack season tickets for 2014 and could not have been more pleased. This park knows what it is doing to keep people coming back and the young talents on the team are so fun to watch! Concessions are spendier, but not compared to major league... More

An outstanding park for the family. I had seats on the first base line. Being a Chicago Sox fan I was leary on going but sure changed my mind after going. Great for families. It is worth a visit.

While on my recent vacation, I stopped here to watch the Iowa Cubs take on a very tough team from Salt Lake City, Utah. I advise getting to the ballpark early enough to get tickets as I was surprised to find that most of the better seats had all ready been sold. I had no choice but to sit in... More

The Iowa Cubs organization really know how to keep you in the game. The park is very fan friendly. They have free water coolers all around the concourse helping to keep the fans hydrated and safe. It is an outdoor event during the summer months so it will be a little hot but once you attend a game and figure... More

Nice, family friendly park for the Iowa Cubs game. Easy to park and find. Park is right along the river next to several walking paths. During Iowa Cubs games, there is a kids play area for ages 5 and up.

My visit to Principal Park was for the Cityview Brewfest. What a perfect venue for it! In addition to being outdoors but cool and shaded, you get the grteat views of the statehouse from the stands. A baseball game would have been a nice addition but I would have been too distracted by 400 beers.

JUst back from an Iowa Cub day game... my work colleagues and I will often head over to the park for lunch during the work week when they have a day game. As othere... More
