We had a suite which is a really nice way to watch a baseball game. There were small bars set up near the suite if you didn't want to wait until the server came. Mixed drinks, beer, etc. Food options were good as well. Great view. Fireworks were amazing after the game. I highly recommend!

We love coming here during baseball season. Seats are cheap and good seats are not impossible to get the day off unless it's around holiday time. Lots of beer and food choices and it is always easy to find a parking spot near the stadium that is easy to get in and out of!

Imagine the massive ballparks of big cities, and shrink that down. That's Principle Park, a mini-stadium in downtown Des Moines, on the river. Some parks can be alienating in their vastness, but this is cozy and friendly. I visited to watch an Iowa Cubs game, and was not disappointed ... well in the park...

Our high school class reunion was recently held at the Cub Club of Principal Park. The Cub Club is a nice venue was gorgeous views of the ballpark. We ordered a plated meal service and everyone enjoyed the selections of entrees, appetizers and desserts. A full hosted bar was available and drink prices were very affordable. A great place to spend a Friday night with friends or your family if there is nothing else to do. There is a play area for children inside, if they get restless watching the game, lots to eat and drink as you'd expect and the tickets are cheap. Book early to get the best seats and if you go on... Principal Park has evolved from an old style baseball park to a major event center. A night at the ballpark has become a fun family affair. You have gift shops, and various food vendors offering drinks, desserts, and of course dogs plus many other menu items. The park offers a wonderful view of the State Capital and excites the die-hard... More
