This museum had a little bit of everything. We went for the Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit and the Haitian art. We were not disappointed with the Wright exhibit, the few examples of Haitian art were good but a small collection. We enjoyed the College students exhibit and the local artists as well. Museum store has lots of things to look... More

Great way to spend an afternoon if you like art. Changing exhibits and interesting cafe'. Also some kitchy things in the gift shop if you need to take something home to mom.

A great museum in such a small city. Curtis's unique photographs give a rare glimpse into the lives of many a Native American tribe.

Very glad that I was able to view the Edward Curtis exhibit. Just extraordinary photography! Great way to spend a couple of hours. The only negative is that the blinds were closed in the stairway so I could not take photos of the river.

Visited Figge Museum on a Thursday evening as it was the only time in our schedule, What a surprise to find the admission was free, parking easy and inside a very good museum, We had the opportunity to participate in the reception for a new exhibit and listen to the artist introduce her new exhibit. Permanent exhibits are well displayed.... More

We stopped here on a day trip to Davenport. It was rated by TripAdvisor as one of the top attractions in the area. This is a good activity when weather is questionable. The museum can take several hours if you tour each room and appreciate the variety of art. They have plenty of paintings and sculptures and a few interactive... More

Stopped in for a break between youth sporting events. A big selection of paintings to view, and interactive stuff for the kids. Lots of stairs to walk off a meal, take the huge elevator back down after you get to the top floor.

I went in the end of September while it was still free, so I can't speak to value, but they had some nice traveling exhibits of art on paper. The travelling exhibit took up 2 floors, and was a nice view. The standard exhibits are nice also. It was well attended, and there was no rush. A suitable atmosphere for... More
