Truly a bizzare piece of architecture. It is Sarah's(as in Palin) bridge to nowhere. The fact Daveport considers this as a tourist attraction says only one thing---there are really good drugs there.

Its a great way to see the Mississippi River. Great views both up and down the river. At night with all the lights it is pretty cool. Just seems like a bridge to no where though.

An elevator takes you up to the sky bridge that is one block long, very short. You can walk across it at night time when the lights are lit up within the bridge. It can be a romantic (short) walkway to and fro. Takes you from 2nd street to River Drive (which is one street down). You start between the... More

I really liked the bridge. It looked awesome, and once we arrived in town and ate, we made a beeline for it, and it did not disappoint. The way it is lit up at night looks so modern and futuristic, and I think we both liked basking in the different colors of light. Definitely worth seeing if you are in... More

It is a free attraction that give you a great view of the city, but that's pretty much it. When you get to the top you can go on a small deck outside and take pictures and then go and walk on the bridge inside. There is a casino that is very near it, so that might also draw people... More

This bridge doesn't seem to have much non-recreational value. If it came from street level in the city to a couple storeys up by the riverfront it would seem like an investment that people might even use. Instead, you have to go out of your way to get up there. When I visited there were maybe one or two other... More

I enjoy walking along the bridge. There is an elevator that brought u to the top of the bridge and u can see the view outside from both the elevator and sides of the bridge. The view is quite magneficient and the is a train rail across the bridge too. However, the interior of the bridge is quite hot and... More

It's a great place to visit view the riverfront. It provided a great venue for a running steps and yoga with the community this winter.
