Just did the dinner train this past weekend, 4/20/15. It was awesome!!!! The train was so much fun. The staff was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. The views we saw were incredible. Went out on the back/rear deck as we went over one of the highest (oh boy it was high!!) train track bridges in the US, it was breathtaking... More

Trip wasn't a total disaster, as we made the best of a poor situation. Went on the Valentines train, was not informed we would be sharing a table with another couple, but they were nice and we had a little fun. There was absolutely no heat in the train the entire trip (literally freezing), scenery was mostly Rural Iowa trailers... More

I took a trip in the fall and it was a fun, slow-paced experience. It's not something to do by yourself but the people running this train obviously love what they do, and it's a real joy to go through the woods, by the river, and over the High Trestle Trail Bridge in a slow moving train. The scenery is... More

My wife and I took the steam engine train on a Saturday. The engine was acquired from China and is the last steam engine produced by the factory there in Datong, China. The route is a round-trip lasting about an hour and three-quarters. The price for us was $20 apiece. A fun ride.

We went on the Santa express. My girls had a very magical time. I highly recommend taking your kids on this ride.

The dinner train is a perfect couples event to enjoy the historical significance of trains and the history of the area. The staff is very informative and open to all questions. It is the perfect length of trip to see amazing views and of course take in the bridge! The meal was delicious and the serve staff was very friendly... More

We came there this last weekend and did the Santa Express. Our kids really enjoyed themselves even our one year old didn't get too antsy.. Riding the train was neat. The scenery was amazing I'm sure it would look better summer/fall time. All I can say is unlock more doors for better access of entering and exiting the building.

We were a little early for fall leaves, but even so we enjoyed this ride in an old-fashioned rail car. The Saturday trains are pulled by a steam locomotive, which 'blows off steam' at the trestle bridge - treating us to a nice rainbow! I wouldn't dare take a teen on this ride - they'd miss the point. But young... More

This is a unique attraction. I choose the First Class Bi-Level Car and sat on the upper level. The view over the bridges and river is amazing.Leaves are changing and the pics came out great. The crew was friendly but they need to be more organized. Boarding is a little confusing as to your car choice.
