Lots of exhibits, but mostly a big play area. Not really a museum in that since of the word. Toddlers and young kids will enjoy it.

I went to the museum because my HS aged child was playing in a holiday band performance... I was really surprised when I entered the building at both the size and scope of activities for young children. Parents and their little kids seemed to be having a great time... It was very well decorated for Christmas; really catching the season.... More

We we to the Family Museum over Thanksgiving weekend. We took our child with special needs who is in a wheelchair. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. One woman talked with him and brought out pictures to have him answer some of her questions. He was able to play at the water table, with the musical drums, train... More

I was really impressed with this children's museum. We met my friend and her kids there for the day and the kids had a blast. Picture a very large room tastefully filled with at least a dozen play areas such as a vet office, post office, fire engine, a house, a huge bridge, and much more. There were several benches... We made a stop here with my 6 year old and 1 year old - both had a blast! Our oldest loved making new friends and exploring concepts of physics, the working world, and the rain forest (traveling exhibit) while our youngest was happy in the special corner designed just for toddlers! The outside play and exploration area was a... More

The kids love it. Sometimes I don't know why. Seems to have dirty stuffed animals and not really inexpensive for a family. But the young kids seem to love it.

I took my five year old granddaughter to visit the museum. She could have spent the whole day there. The activities were endless. There was a shoe store where she measured feet and tried on shoes. The next stop was the pizza parlor where she pretended to make pizza, bake it in the oven, then serve it to me while... More

This was my families favorite place that we visited in the quad cities! The staff here are wonderful! They have an area where you can build with real tools! My kids spent hours in there making creation after creation! We had so many creations that the staff got me a box to carry everything in! My daughter gave the front... More
