Easy to get around. Friendly staff, faculty, and students. Our daughter transferred after 3 semesters at Univ. of South Carolina, very happy with her decision to become a Boilermaker, like her grandfather!

The campus is amazing. There is so much to do here. You can walk around and visit the buildings. Armstrong hall of engineering is fun because they have a replica of the Apollo 11 capsule as well as a moon rock taken back by one of the Purdue astronauts (Purdue has produced many astronauts including Neil Armstrong). The libraries have... More

Our experience with the entire visit was excellent. The culture throughout our day (admissions, student tour, academic presentation, ROTC) was consistently beyond good. The people were knowledgeable and friendly.

Not a bad seat in the house! Very loud excitable atmosphere and great to take children! If you are an alumni (which i am) there is tremendous school pride here for the basketball program

My son is a senior at Purdue. I think he has gotten an excellent engineering education. Of course, the downside is the weather. First, the strengths. Great academics, walking distance to the bars and good student-oriented eating places, great physical plant with newer and renovated buildings and scenic quads, basketball team is exciting. Some weaknesses. Of course the weather, limited... More

Purdue has a great University Complex of over 100 buildings and sports venues. The Student Union hotel is the place to stay on campus. The Alumni Center does a good job of welcoming back graduates and families.

This winter trip in Purdue University: All travels were done in city bus (US$2 for day pass) or walk. While we were there most days temp were -10 degree centigrade or lower. with or without snow cover. So padding with sufficient cloths were required. In addition (I used work boot for footwear - for its nonslip design) winter walking was... More

I always loved being here. There is so much to do and it is a good place to hang out. It adds a lot to the area.

When I attended Purdue there were only 12K students. Now that number exceeds 40K. A world leader in so many fields. Purdue athletics may suck but this is one great university. Visit the University bookstore to buy your Purdue goodies.
