Last stop on our college tour. Not a fit for us, but glad we stopped. Very pretty campus, friendly guides.

in theory a great university but in practice a dead zone. If you're looking for a decent student life in an interesting town then don't go here you'll be at best bored out of your mind. Life in Lafayette is so bad people become either bitter either delusional because the truth is purdue sucks big time and is full of... More

In the area and with my teenage daughter who is interested in pursuing a STEM career (Purdue has reached out to her, encouraging her to pursue an engineering degree); we stopped by and walked the campus. Although it was an overcast summer day with no one around, we could still see that Purdue has a beautiful campus and looking at... More

It is a great research university. I am in a doctoral program. There seems a lot of programs for undergraduates. The weather in the summer is very humid, so I don't encourage you to visit during these months. September and October are generally good - that's what I heard.

Well thought out and laid out campus. We liked that the campus is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and hotels. Additionally there are a great many conveniences on campus.

After a tough decision my daughter chose to go to Purdue last year. She has never been happier. She wanted the Big 10 atmosphere and was pleasantly surprised with everything else she discovered there. The campus is widespread but not so big you get lost in the shuffle. I have visited several times and feel at home there myself. You... More

We recently did a walking tour of the campus. Great sculptures. The buildings all blend together well for a very peaceful and pleasant setting. Lots of great fountains.

I admit up front that I am biased. I spent four0and-a-half years at Purdue and still go back whenever I have the chance. My personal favorite time to visit is Sunday mornings during the summer. No one is around, and you have the campus almost to yourself. The downside is that the buildings are largely closed, but places like the... More

This is one of the most beautiful university campuses I have seen. It is homogeneous, and looks like it was built all at one time, but was not. It has the benefit of a huge land grant, and thus even though it stated small, has been able to grow and remain all one campus. And, it is still growing leaps... More

Drove around campus to see the older buildings and fraternity houses, stadiums. The older buildings are so impressive. This is a great campus.
