Indiana Theatre

I attended events and movies at the Indiana Theatre from 5yrs of age until about 20yrs! It was a grand ole place with 2 or 3 balconies and several private side boxes on each side!

We attended a wonderful buffet dinner/movie showing tonight and loved it. We are from Canada and just in Terre Haute for three nights. We had walked by this theatre which was just a short walk from our hotel. It intrigued us as even the outside drew us to it. The theatre has an immaculately restored marquee that inspires you to... Gorgeous old theater that has been restored. I was here for a business gathering. Theater must be 100 years old or so. A great venue.

My earliest memories as a child was going to the Indiana Theatre with my parents. The architecture was so fascinating even for me. Fountains! Detail! The Large Entrance! Looking Up! And then the special balcony. My parents wouldn't let me sit there, but I could dream. I don't remember one movie I saw there, but I remember the theatre. I... More

We just spent an evening of great fun watching Gone with the Wind to celebrate its 75th anniversary year on the big screen of The Indiana! It was a spectacular evening with great food, a full bar and a house full of people who have never seen this American Film Institute Top 100 movie at the theater. Owner Rob Lundstrom's... More

This theater, renovated in 2013, is a majestic example of old-world theaters and a reminder of the beauty and grandeur of our cinematic past. It's opulent entrance and foyer are well worth viewing, and the owner himself will even take you back stage for a behind the scenes look! The place now hosts many events and is fun, yet elegant.

I haven't been here sence I was a kid and went to the movies so the date is wrong but that's all it would let me go back. My dad would take us to the movies once a month when we was kids, I always thought the place looked like a castle inside it was really cool I thought

This place is incredible, If you don't have an event planned there get yourself invited to one that is or move yours. Better than I every remember it. If you have memories from the past or just want to see fantastic venue that has been around for almost 100 years, you have to go. From Laurel and Hardy and vaudeville... More

Just being inside this beautiful place will bring a smile on your face as well as make you feel like you're in the 1940's. The owner a have never changed a thing except for what needed updated. This is a must see!
