Really huge. Spices, vegetables, fruit, meats, jewelry, old books, crafts, flowers, baked goods, coffees. They have a jammed packed food counter so you can eat there. Great variety. Nice people. Lots of parking but so crowded. Everyone loves it.

The cafe is a wonderful opportunity to grab some diner food. Unlike most greasy spoons, the cafe offers dishes utilizing the fresh produce found in the market. The wait staff is very attentive and it's a really fun experience. Today I had the stuffed tomato and it was delicious!!

Beautiful vegetables, artfully arranged. We bought Wisconsin cheese curds, which we hadn't seen in many years. A nice clean home town market.

Our first time there. All the vendors were very friendly to us. Plenty of different foods to sample. Lots of variety. What more is there to say about a farmers market? It is held indoors. I believe it is open three days a week, with Saturday the day to go with the most vendors available.

A trip to the South Bend Farmers Market is much like going back to a simpler time in history. Meats at a butcher shop, homemade candy and cookies, donuts, jams, jellies, salsas, noodles, fresh fruits and vegetables, jewelry, crafts, books, flowers, bird feeders, yummy treats, and even a restaurant to enjoy a meal. It is well worth a visit, especially... More

The market use to be a fun place to get some local home grown veggies and enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch. The home grown veggies are still there, but management recently changed the café. The waitresses are very friendly and pleasant, but the food is terrible and overpriced. The menu is a fourth of what it use to be.... More

Whether you are a local or visiting for a football game, this place should be on your list! The freshest local fruits and vegetables available at competitive prices. Local meats and cheeses available as well. I always pack a few pounds of bacon for the trip home! The Italian deli with subs and cheese are great for tailgating. Don't forget... More

The selection was very good. This market is European style, in that there are fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, baked goods as well as crafts and resale goods. We went on a Friday, and the market was just getting up to speed for the season, so there were a few vendors absent. A nice stop in South Bend, we will... More
