Thank you for your comment. There are many different styles of architecture in the theater which opened in 1922 as the Palace Theatre. The developer, Jacob Handlesman, wanted to give people a feeling as if they were taking a trip to Europe. The Morris is listed on the Register for National Historic Places. More

I took my mom to an Irish Christmas concert and it was fantastic. Historic charm, decent parking, very glamorous in its hey day. Preserved nicely and this is the venue to see great theatre, music and dance. Acoustics are fantastic and seats comfortable. The Morris is a city treasure for generations to come. You must go at least once!

We're glad you enjoyed the show! The Morris was delighted to host the CELTIC WOMAN "Home for Christmas" show in December 2014, with great Irish music, songs, and dancing! More

We just saw our 3rd production at the Morris. It is an exquisite theater...masterfully preserved to its original beauty and charm. Great seats throughout and the performances are top notch!

We're happy you enjoyed shows at the MAGNIFICENT MORRIS! Last week we hosted a variety of shows with John Mellencamp opening his SOLD OUT "Plain Spoken" tour 1-21, State Ballet Theatre of Russia presented "Swan Lake" 1-22, and the national Broadway tour of SISTER ACT 1-23 and 1-24. More

Second time at this venue and enjoyed another great show and fun evening. If it was not for the rude people behind and beside me holding a conversation through most of the event I would have even enjoyed it better. There is not a bad seat in this place. The seating is comfortable and the sound is nice. Definitely a... More

Have seen many concerts and shows at the Morris and love fact that there are no bad seats in the house, they have a very good and helpful staff to make sure you have a good time, they also have bar if you need a drink.

Dinner/show ticket packages are offered for many shows at the Morris and feature preferred seating in the theater. Patrons enjoy a delicious dinner in an elegant atmosphere and afterwards are just steps or an elevator ride away from their theater seats. More

This theater is absolutely gorgeous. It has been restored to its' original glory. As far as seating goes, if you can't get seats in the first half of the floor, then the mezzanine has a better view. I really think any of the seats would be fine. I probably wouldn't recommend the 3rd balcony if you can afford something closer.... More

This is a wonderful historic theatre. The theatre is a smaller intimate feel and you close to the performer! Cons: parking is iffy and the street in the front of the theatre has strange access, it is difficult. The seating is comfortable, the acoustics are wonderful. Drink prices are high, but they are for any event today. The theatre makes... More

This is an awesome, historic theatre to watch any event! They remodeled it a few years ago and did a fabulous job. The feel of the theatre is amazing, taking you back into the day. The sound is amazing. There's little to none parking at the theatre itself but there are a couple of parking garages within walking distance. If... More

I saw Wicked in Chicago and then saw it again when it came to South Bend. Because the Morris is much smaller, you really feel the energy! I got goosebumps on top of goosebumps when Elphaba sang Defying Gravity! For the price difference, South Bend Morris delivers awesome performances. I see no reason to go to Chicago for a show... We're so glad you enjoyed WICKED so much at the Morris! The cost for show tickets, parking, gas, tolls, etc., is more to see see national traveling Broadway shows, concerts, and comedians in Chicago than to see the same shows at the Morris in South Bend. More

Have seen several shows here and enjoyed them all. Comfortable seating, beautiful historic interior, decent acoustics. Parking is a little sketchy, but not too bad. Will definitely go back. Recommended.

We're happy to know that you enjoyed several shows at the Morris! Parking is also available on the streets... More
