If you are visiting this area make time to walk around the campus even if you have nothing to do with Notre Dame. Campus is awesome.

grounds were breathe taking. The history was alive. Coming from Canada its crazy to see how much pride is put into these schools.

The signage is bad and we ended up going in circles. The book store was nice but not worth the time.

heading toward Chicago on a family trip, we opted to take a dinner stop here. I'm SO glad we did! The campus is breathtakingly beautiful & immaculate. Visiting the Basillica was a highlight. we had opportunity to speak to some 'sisters' and students and were impressed with each one we did. Each was respectful, coordial, and interesting. I wish our... More

No need to be an alum, or a parent shopping colleges to appreciate the appeal of this beautiful campus. On a week-end, plan to attend a mass just to hear the mighty pipe-organ and see the ornate interior of the Basilica. There is more here than football!

The entrance is lovely, and the main parts you want to see are excellent like the main building, the stadium and the basilica, but the other building are not what I expected. I thought everything would look older. It is a great campus tour nevertheless.

Fantastic campus to walk around year-round! All the grounds are very well kept and it is a very moving experience even if you are not of the faith! P.S. Near one of the entrances there is a cemetery. Take some time to walk around this area. It's really neat!

This campus is big so wear your walking shoes. You won't be disappointed when you visit Norte Dame. It is lovely and well maintained. We spent hours here walking and touring the various buildings. The beauty of the Basilica is breathtaking. The stadium was under construction so we couldn't tour it. Very enjoyable afternoon here.

A beautiful campus that has a lot of sidewalks and trails to walk. We enjoyed the peaceful campus to walk around. The lake was a nice place to sit and rest. A lot of benches are located around to sit and rest if you wish. This was a summer visit so not many students were around thus adding to the... More

Beautiful campus! I've been twice now and both times have been during the summer. Allow at least two hours to walk the entire campus! Go inside the Basilica. They have tour guides that can answer any questions for you, but they don't walk with you, so you still have that privacy as you walk around. Park at the Bookstore on... More
