Our purpose of visit was visiting a cousin that goes to this University so we saw plenty on campus! The campus is very plain, there is nothing special about except the large green quads. I was very disappointed I expected beautiful buildings. If you go, don't get your hopes up.

Notre Dame.....the name itself evokes thousands of images. The campus is amazing! You cannot adequately describe this place! Be sure to visit the bookstore and the Eck visitors center. The golden dome is spectacular and be sure to check out the library. I love the dining hall and the other gothic buildings. Harry Potter could have been filmed here!

Don't miss the university tour! It's an amazing campus and the Basilica of the Sacret heart is breathtaking! We loved everything about the University ND. It is one of the most beautiful colleges in the USA. The surrounding area has a few book stores, Starbucks etc.

Loved the University and particularly the church. It is well worth the visit BUT, be advised, it is difficult for handicapped people.
