Growing up as an Irish Catholic descendant, how can you not love Notre Dame. The book store was incredible. I was able to purchase a onsie for my soon to arrive grandson. Another item off the bucket list. The family wedding in the Basilica was amazing.

This is a beautiful walking campus. You have to park and walk; many areas have very minimal parking available. Many buildings are very large and most are close to a building on either side. But there is usually a generous amount of grounds in front of each. The landscaping is beautiful. You must see the main building. It is just... More

We were there as a small group of mothers/daughters for a college visit. The tour by students was good time and informative. There are several buildings worth looking at further. A really nice college layout. The grotto reproduction is amazing. People were very friendly and helpful. We were able to see and do a lot there, like attend Mass at... More

We did not wait on a tour so we did our own self tour. We took a map and walked around for two hours. The campus is gorgeous. We spent as long as we wanted at each building/area. It was a very nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Came to Notre Dame for our nephew's wedding. Before the wedding (since we got there really early) we decided to walk around the campus. The campus is very nice and the architect was intriguing. Since we were there in June, we did not see too many students since it was summer.

We went on a college visit. The informational session was interesting and the tour was broken into very small groups, we had only 2 others in ours. Even though it was 20 degrees out the walk around campus was enjoyable. In addition, if you ask at the admissions office you will receive discounted tickets to eat in the dining hall.... More

The basilica is a special place; I've only been there three times in my life, and each time I feel that I'm on Holy Ground. Is it the way the sunlight shines through the stained glass mirrors? Is it the moving Stations of the Cross, the beautiful gold decorations, the marvelous statuary? I don't have the answer; I can only... More

South Bend was a stop over on a cross country road trip, so we decided to explore the University campus. It's a beautiful campus, with interesting architecture and a good park-like atmosphere. A nice place to walk, stretch the legs, and enjoy being outside.

This is my favorite place to visit. We come to several games and events here. My son goes to school at holycross so we spend a lot of time traveling to South Bend and Notre Dame

As a Michigan State fan, it almost kills me to write this review... but I have to admit, Notre Dame has a great campus. The visitor center is very large and has every type of Notre Dame piece of clothing or souvenir an Irish fan would ever want. The clothing store/souvenir shop is truly spectacular. As far as the campus,... More
