We were visiting Shipshewana, IN and saw that "Josiah for President" was playing at the Blue Gate Theater. On a whim, we bought tickets, and am I glad we did! It was a very enjoyable evening, with laughter, tears and common wisdom that seemingly has disappeared from the current leadership of our country. I'd surely vote for Josiah for President... More

We saw the Bellamy Brothers here. They were excellent as well as they venue itself. Very cozy atmosphere, the staff were personable and the bathrooms clean, if u need to get drunk to enjoy the show maybe not the right place, no booze in sight. Enjoy

We spent a 4th of July weekend watching the play half stitched and gospel singers Jeff and Sheri Easter. Both were great as you are close to stage so a great feel, and sound and lights are great.

Dinner was home cooked in southern style and delicious. The play was fantastic, you laughed, cried, anticipation at times and enjoyed by all.

We stumbled on the theater by accident ~ what a great surprise. The play was great, the people are fabulous and the cost of the play was most affordable. Do not miss a play here if you are in the area.

This musical about an Amish quilter was fabulous, and not to be missed if in Shipshewana. The actors were all strong and talented. I would see it again if I could.

Did the theatre and diner combo, which was a very good deal. Play was very well done. MC did a great job with the audience in introducing/explaining the production. Nice to see him elicit where everyone was from.

We saw "Half Stitched" and thoroughly enjoyed the show. The acting was very well done, and they all had great singing voices. The play had a good message, and made me both laugh and cry - which in my opinion deserves an EXCELLENT rating. We had dinner after and the food was served family style. It was quite tasty, and...
