You have to do this. Wasn't sure which one to do but we just "happened" on this one and purchased a tour through the country. It was definitely worth the money we spent. We ended up being the only couple on the buggy and the driver was excellent. We talked about the Amish culture and it was truly interesting. The... More

Buggy line day tours and Kenny the owner was great. We had a buggy ride around town and then a backroads tour that included stops along the way at the cheese and noodle factory. We stopped at the quilt and candle shops. It was informative, educational and entertaining.

We highly recommend using Miller's Buggy Line Tours for you buggy ride. We did the buggy ride and farm tour and then we also went on the buggy ride and the dinner in an Amish home. This was a nice way to spend the afternoon and early evening. The prices are a little steep but once we paid for it... More

We highly recommend a Miller Buggy ride and dinner in an Amish home. We learned so much about the Amish, the culture and their beliefs on our Miller ride and dinner. The buggy ride was very good and we enjoyed chatting with the driver, who readily answered all our questions. The home we dined in was Loretta's who did a... More

There are several buggy tours that offer an Amish style meal, but Miller's is the only one that offers an Amish meal IN an Amish home, served by Amish. The price may seem a little steep ($40/person) but it is well worth the experience. The buggy ride was nice, but not as long or informative as I had hoped. But... More

There are a few options here from just a short trip around the town, to working on the farm, to dinner with the family. We opted for the ride and dinner with an Amish family. It is a great experience since everything is traditional. You get to appreciate what it is like to be in that horse and buggy as... More

Wow, what an experience. We did the 4 star tour which takes you to a working Amish farm where you can help with chores. This tour is only at 4:30 in the afternoon since it arrives during chore time. First let me advise you to buy tickets early. The lady at Hoestetler's store sold us tickets at 3pm for the... More

We were running out of time but the kids were dying to go for a buggy ride, so we opted for the quick little 8 min trip around shipsie. This was a fun little ride. The fellow that took us was very colorful and told us lots of stories. He pointed out landmarks and we ended up discovering a shop... More
