I think our driver was named Johnasiah but I am not sure. He was very courteous and would answer our questions and about anything we wanted info on. The horse "Debbie" was a four year old and stopped at stop signs without being told to. She knew when to turn as well. This was well worth our time. My wife... More

We took a ride around town and the drivers had brought the wrong carriages at first. so we hopped aboard the Amish carriages and rode to the stable where they got the open carriages out for us. Our driver was very open and hospitable and willing to tell all about Shipshewanna as well as about himself and the Amish people.

We took the buggy ride out and really enjoyed the pace and the horse. The Amish driver wouldn't help my wife get in the buggy. He then proceeded to use the racial terms that shocked us. We hadn't brought that subject up but he did. He was not rude to us but the talk was shocking to us. We arrived... More

You have to do this. Wasn't sure which one to do but we just "happened" on this one and purchased a tour through the country. It was definitely worth the money we spent. We ended up being the only couple on the buggy and the driver was excellent. We talked about the Amish culture and it was truly interesting. The... More

Buggy line day tours and Kenny the owner was great. We had a buggy ride around town and then a backroads tour that included stops along the way at the cheese and noodle factory. We stopped at the quilt and candle shops. It was informative, educational and entertaining.

We highly recommend using Miller's Buggy Line Tours for you buggy ride. We did the buggy ride and farm tour and then we also went on the buggy ride and the dinner in an Amish home. This was a nice way to spend the afternoon and early evening. The prices are a little steep but once we paid for it... More

We highly recommend a Miller Buggy ride and dinner in an Amish home. We learned so much about the Amish, the culture and their beliefs on our Miller ride and dinner. The buggy ride was very good and we enjoyed chatting with the driver, who readily answered all our questions. The home we dined in was Loretta's who did a... More

There are several buggy tours that offer an Amish style meal, but Miller's is the only one that offers an Amish meal IN an Amish home, served by Amish. The price may seem a little steep ($40/person) but it is well worth the experience. The buggy ride was nice, but not as long or informative as I had hoped. But... More

There are a few options here from just a short trip around the town, to working on the farm, to dinner with the family. We opted for the ride and dinner with an Amish family. It is a great experience since everything is traditional. You get to appreciate what it is like to be in that horse and buggy as... More
